We have a project of converting a large kiwi sheep shearing/woolshed into an amazing home. Id say we are 90% done and it's looking awesome but we really need help to do some finishing touches.
Let us know if you have building, renovating or carpentry skills that would be useful for our last push towards completion.

There is a lot forest on our land. We have lots of musical instruments, drumkit, guitars and a baby grand piano. We collect retro things and the woolshed is a visual feast. Although it is still a bit of a building site at the moment!!!!

We make and enjoy good beer, wine and fruit snapps. We help run a boutique pinot noir and riesling vineyard and at different times of year we need help tending to it.

Alongside daily projects we appreciate some help with cleaning up/dishes after meals. We would love you to share your cooking skills sometime if you would like.

We steer towards organic principles for our gardening and cooking. Our vegetable garden is full of produce at the moment.
We have two small dogs a horse, two pet pigs, chickens ducks and sheep. There is always horse poop to pick up. It would be great if you have some horse handling skills too as we are fairly new to having a horse. We also keep bees.

We have a variety of building projects and would appreciate 5hours help each day in exchange for accomodation, delicious good wholesome food cooked for you and drinks, with some nice wines or alcohols at times. We have some WiFi available and laundry. We turn the wifi off each evening around 10pm when we sleep.

We really appreciate our woofers and are so grateful for the work they do to help us create our home and gardens for the future. We have met wonderful people and have made life long friendships. It is so nice to hear where different people are from and share in cultural exchange with time around the dinner table.

A good level of english is appreciated please. We appreciate motivated people that have experience of physical work, building or from a rural background. We work outside a lot so good physical strength is needed.

We have some skills to share that you might be interested in, learning any of the following: fishing, ukulele or djembe drum playing, beer making/brewing, bread making, basic cake making, using a sewing machine, guitar and bass or drumkit or compost making in the garden, bee keeping, horse riding.

It would be good if you could
arrive in the morning then we can show you around. We are happy to negotiate when you help if you want to fit in some exploring. We often work 10am until 12.30 lunchtime then 1 until 3.30. 6days a week. But it depends on the day and jobs sometimes.

We look forward to meeting you!

P.s I have a couple of lovely local friends who need a helper from time to time. One is on a vineyard in the Waitaki and one in a historic house in Waimate. They need help with their gardens. I may refer you to them if we have helpers.
