We have a project of converting a large kiwi sheep shearing/woolshed into an amazing home. Building has started and it's coming together so well. Let's know if you have some skills that would be useful. Any building or renovating skills, painting, fencing, farm work, chainsawing, wall papering! We also have some gardening that we would love some help with. We have some shifting of wood and de-nailing to do. So strength would be good. We have some cleaning and clearing work at the moment too. Can you help us clean and piece together a kitset kitchen?
There is extensive forest on our land. We have lots of musical instruments, drumkit, guitars and record player. We collect retro things and the woolshed is a visual feast. Although it is a bit of a building site at the moment!!

We make and enjoy good beer, wine and snapps. We help run a boutique vineyard and at different times of year we may need help with tending to it.

We appreciate help with the running of our place with some cooking and cleaning up/dishes each day/night. We would love you to share your cooking skills.

We steer towards organic principles for our gardening and cooking.Although the birds have taken over the vegie patch at the moment. Our last helper made some awesome raised garden beds so we are in the process of filling them up and planting in them.

We have two small dogs a horse, two pet pigs, chickens ducks and sheep that need some feeding/watering twice a day. We can't believe how much horse poop there is to pick up. It would be great if you have some horse handling skills too as we are new to having a horse. We keep bees too.

We have a variety of jobs and would appreciate 4-6hours work each day in exchange for your accomodation, food and drinks. We have some WiFi available and laundry. We turn the wifi off each evening around 10pm when we sleep.

We really appreciate our woofers and are so grateful for the work they do to helping us create our home and gardens for the future. It is also so nice to hear where different people are from and share in cultural exchange.

A good level of english is appreciated please. We appreciate motivated people that have experience of physical work, building or from a rural background. We work outside a lot so good physical strength is needed.

We have some skills to share that you might be interested in, learning any of the following: fishing, ukulele or djembe drum playing, beer making/brewing, bread making, basic cake making, guitar and bass or drumkit or compost making in the garden, bee keeping.

It would be cool if you could please
arrive on the morning of a Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Then we can show you around. We are happy to negotiate when you help if you want to fit in some exploring.
Helpers accomodation is a funky housetruck with a cosy fireplace. It has a mini kitchen so you can prepare your own breakfast and hot drinks. It has a double bed and one small single bed.

We look forward to meeting you.
