At our farm, we produce an exciting range of hand crafted, small batch soft drinks and award winning gourmet condiments. Our picturesque family farm and olive and elder groves are in the Derwent Valley only 35 to 40 minutes from Hobart.

We are mad about the farm, and what we do here in Tasmania and would love to share this beautiful place with as many people as we can! We are on the beautiful Derwent River, so as we move into summer you will even be able to enjoy swimming or lying on the banks or wandering the 300ha of bush.

Myself (Anne) and my husband (Robert) live on the farm and run the farm and business together. We are keen to meet new people and share our knowledge on farming, gardening and business as well as ideas and tips on travel within Tasmania.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals, groups or couples who are open to new challenges. Those who have experience farming and gardening would be a bonus but it is not a necessity.

We are offering 4/5 hours of work a week in return for accommodation and either food or a food allowance. It would be ideal if you have your own transport to give you more freedom, but do not let this stop you from making contact.

We would love for you to stay for a minimum of one week in order to get to know you and also so you have a full and real experience.

The volunteer work is varied depending on the time of year and your skill set.

We have recently built a new factory on the farm and would like some assistance in planting and potting around the area to help it fit into the environment.

We are keen to build some cosy cottages or cabins on the farm so builders or handy men are very welcome.

There are also jobs to do around the farmhouse such as gardening, house maintenance and renovation.
