I speak fluent English and French have some basic knowledge of German and would like to learn Spanish

I live here in a village called Esperaza in the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains
(1800 inhabitants) within 5 minutes walk you are out in the hills and there is some beautiful country out there to be explored, I always have bicycles available (my favourite form of transport)

Breathing fresh air, drinking pure water and eating good foods and working to have a healthy mind body and soul are encouraged. We usually have a lot of fun , it is quite an interesting area there Is a lot going on

I have been an ecological militant for some 25 years but have stopped saying no to negative things and I am only saying yes to positive ones now.

Here were are promoting composting toilets, we make rent and sell these dry toilets and this is how we live, we also help organise organic fair's and ecological festivals.. In the summer we spend quite allot of our time on the road going to different places with our rental toilets and our information stand on ecological sanitation , we also see a quite a few bands and meet allot of interesting people who are generally happy to see us

Using the dry toilet is about getting back into a healthy cycle and giving back to the earth instead of just taking from her (its not a new paradigm) it helps restore the bio-mass of the earth witch in tern helps to bring up the capacity to absorb carbon as well as putting back great amounts of nitrogen and phosphor back into the soil instead of it all going down the drain into the rivers and finishing in the oceans.

We will be working with local councils also and will be setting up a composting centre shortly. We have starting a garden using the compost from festivals (2 years old), I must say it is quite an adventure... we have also other projects but each in there due time..!

There are many things to do here e.g.: carpentry in the workshop, painting, varnishing, gardening and , setting up the stand and toilets at different events, cleaning and emptying them (this last one is paid work), at the end of an event taking it all down and moving on to the next one (sometimes it is very hard work with long hours and it is very important to take a good break afterwards) also the setting up of managed compost areas and much more....

It was Mahatma Gandhi who said:
Be the change you want to see in the world

"so let us stop waiting for a solution to come from the outside and just get on with it..."
