Looking for helpers with painting skills, house cleaning ,gardening ,curtain sewing projects .
Ours is an historic homestead and farm close to the National Wildlife Centre at Mt Bruce and only 15 mins from Masterton. We live in an area with great access for hiking in the mountains and visiting vineyards. We are close to the National Bird reserve 'Pukaha" where the White Kiwi lives and the famous "Castle Point" beach resort. Our property is quiet and restful has a river boundary. We have beehives and we graze dairy cows. This is a very tranquil environment. We can help you explore this wonderful area.
You could have an option of working one 8 hour day for 2 nights accommodation this gives you a day off to explore our region or do the 4 hours a day per nights stay.
Breakfast ,lunch and dinner provided during your stay if you go out for the day I encourage you to take a picnic from home.
We offer a friendly homely environment with wi-fi.
I encourage participation with cooking , meal preparation and cleanup and together we will make a Pavalova our Kiwi national desert during your stay.
I am packing up my house and need help with general outside tidy up washing the out side of the house cleaning windows.Tidy of section around house,if fine weather. If weather is bad cleaning ceilings walls ,windows inside.. if you are available for a few days to one week over this time I would love to hear from you.
Landscaping experience would be helpful as we have a redevelopment garden project at a town house.
A couple would be great however single travelers also.
You need to have your own transport to explore the region as being a rural farm property there is no public transport ,but its very easy to hitch hike to most places , as we are on the main SH2 through the North Island.
Cheers Yvonne
