Small outback/ bush pub, situated 142km south-east of Thargomindah, 180km South of Eromanga and 220km North-east of Tibooburra, NSW. We need help, predominantly with housekeeping duties, but many include general maintenance and semi-hard physical work.

Looking for interested helpers from April to September, helpers may sign on for a minimum of 1 month, duration negotiable.

Jobs could include housekeeping, cleaning, gardening, cooking and general (light) maintenance.

Helpers will be immersed in the Australian outback and experience what it is like to live and work in a very remote part of Australia.
We are a family-run, pet friendly business who provides hospitality services to the general public, station workers and industry including meals, drinks, accommodation, tourism advice and minor vehicle repairs.

If you think you might like to try your hand at some good ol’ outback hospitality, please check us out on our FB page (Noccundra Hotel) and do some research first – we are remote, there are no other services in the town, we are the only occupied building, no phone signal, bus etc.

We would prefer Helpers to have their own vehicle and/or be able to make their own way to us. A bus service operates to Cunnamulla, 420km away and there is a twice-weekly flight to Thargomindah. Pickup can be arranged from either Thargomindah or Tibooburra.

Meals and accommodation in a donga provided. Pay as you go Wi-Fi available. Alcohol, cigarettes etc will not be included in supplied meals and accommodation.

Please take our location and remoteness into consideration before contacting us, we are in REMOTE AUSTRALIA, there are flys and dust and other creepy crawlies, its big and open and dark at night. We expect our Helpers to be able to amuse themselves when not actively helping – fishing, yabbying, bush walking, read a book etc. We are day-trippable to Innamincka and Cameron Corner along with other locations(vehicle required).

Helpers must have good English skills (written, spoken and understanding).
