A very beautiful 120 Year Old Olive Mill and Farmhouse that we are beginning to lovingly restore.

The house is on a river and surrounded by olive groves and natural park. Itīs a gorgeous spot for nature lovers who enjoy the outdoors. Great hiking and really fun local village. (Arhidona)

There is a lot of work to do to prepare the land, ready for planting and irrigating. 120 Olives need TLC and the land between them needs to be cleared of rocks and ploughed. The river banks need to be cleared of rubbish and trash. Fencing needs to go up. Top soil from the back field needs to be stored for manure.

We also have 3 dogs that require walks, 8 chickens and the house has lots of visitors so there is general housework to help with.

We are a male couple and my younger brother Reuben, who has Down Syndrome, lives with us. English is essential as he doesnīt speak any Spanish. We have a gardener and a lot of the work will be assisting him. Perfect opportunity to learn Spanish as he knows no English. The house is ISOLATED . about 4 kms from the nearest village so not a big social life. We prefer quiet souls who love nature, walks, and want to roll their sleeves up to help with all the work that needs to be done.

Helpers will have their own independent living quarters, own kitchen and bathroom. They will prepare food for themselves or occasionally we will all eat together in the evenings. We requite 5 hours of work a day with the weekends free to explore and rest. Itīs a beautiful spot and for the right people, could be a wonderful experience of living in rural Spain. Thank you!
