UPDATE, SECOND HOUSE IS READY TO SLEEP, FIELD NEARLY FINISHED PLANTING, CHICKS HATCHING AND PLENTY MORE TO DO.

update 2. we are starting emergency building work to stop another house collapsing and the road from caving in. we can use builders, plumber, electrician, cleaning, painting, carpenter, farm hand, garden clearance, tree felling, groundwork, etc.

the field is finished and planted but being invaded by odd yellow spaghetti weed that is a parisite on other plants and sadly weedkiller will need to be used sparingly as its a serious threat to the local environment.

there are jobs for a mechanic as some vehicles need fixing and dismantling.

please come help!
lots of clematis to dig out, hops to yank from trees, or just help around the house or property so i can divert my time better.
weeds are growing faster than i can pull them...causing me to neglect other duties and live like a pig ;(
i tried to get volunteers last year but didnt end up taking anyone. update: thanks nuno for coming to help in may, sorry about the rain! cleared more land now i am more prepared, holding a tractor and implements, new chainsaw, the cherry orchard is all lopped (and surviving) and i have installed a solar inverter and borehole pumps to just about irrigate the field. urgent work is clearing around the orchard, cutting and moving wood, and digging a few small stumps.
there is an old house that i bought cheap that is furnished but in a total mess with the last family's stuff abandoned there. it needs a massive clean and tidy to get it in a livable state for volunteers and guests. it will need some plastering or drywalling in some parts, im really no good at decorative stuff! that house also has a garden that needs clearing, and a shallow well that will need clearing of debris. im probably going to try pumping it dry and i will get down the hole and scrub the walls so it can be safe to drink. update: well cleared but garden needs more clearing to make a pond and home for 30 baby geese. the groundwater here is very nice, far better than the tapwater chemicals.

there is a garden at the house i live in that has been abandoned since i spent last year cleaning the field, so thats a good bit of work for volunteers. there is a polytunnel that collapsed under the snow, so that needs cutting up and clearing too.

towards high summer it gets almost unbearably hot, so now is my favorite time to get on with some graft.
need more clover for the bees i will be getting, lemon balm and other herbs, potatoes, parsnips, and butternut squash, etc.
at my yard there are some MORE geese and a few MORE chickens happily pecking about, the main road only sees a dozen cars a day tops, so they have the free range of the street too. easter i will get the baby goats, and a few more bunnys. more pets than anything. we also have a little puppy called sausage.

i am an ex pat from uk, and there is an english lady living with me, who may be willing to give arial acrobatics and silks lessons to any volunteers interested. we have a frame set up on the top of the field for a great view across to the sun setting over romania.
i am happy to help with english language and my limited but effective bulgarian.
there are lots of tools and gadgets to play with for those interested. there is a tig welder and plasma cutter, lots of electronics stuff for tinkerers, and an amateur radio station that reaches the whole world.
(the phone number i put on the site is my UK number because its usually cheaper for you to call me on that from abroad.
