Our farm is historical and has several projects happening. We are very outgoing and really enjoy experiencing new cultures. As new owners to an old farm, we have only the beginnings of farming practices. There are 100 chickens, 26 wild cattle, 3 horses, two dogs and soon puppies as well as abundant wildlife. We also have a small orchard with over 50 different types of food producing plants. We love to eat our own produce including mangoes, eggs, pork, lemon/limes, Jack fruit, papaya and many more fruits and vegetables.

The facilities we offer include internet, wide variety of food, toilets, fully furnished kitchen and your own lockable room. The bus stop is walking distance to the house and we are next door to the famous Lions Den Hotel. Please remember there is no mobile reception on our farm though.

We require 1 to 2 workers who are reasonably fit, outgoing, and willing to experience a very different lifestyle because the area is often referred to as the last frontier due to the extreme weather and wildlife. We welcome people from anywhere in the world and the length of stay is not important, you may stay for 1 week or many weeks.

We love the opportunity to show people the land and wildlife and have yet to see it all our selves. We often go bush walking, fishing and hiking in the Daintree and also fishing and snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef. Although, all activities will depend on the weather.

We have a wide range of work to do including painting, weeding, planting, cleaning, collecting fruit, cooking, building, pruning, collecting eggs, fencing, tending to farm animals and much more. The work will depend on the weather and also what you feel your capable of.
Also, you are likely to learn how to catch and handle wildlife such as snakes if you want to!

Thank you for reading about us! Hope to hear from you soon.

Kind regards,
