Hi!
I'm Kate, I love traveling and meeting people from other cultures.

My house is situated 5 minutes walk from a beautiful lake as seen in the pictures. Lake Cootharaba has many water sports such as; sailing, kite-boarding, canoeing, windsurfing and of course swimming. The lake is part of 100 kilometers of the Noosa waterway system.

Thirty minutes drive by car from Boreen Point is Noosa, renowned for its beautiful beaches. There is a $2 bus that comes 3 times per day, running between Boreen Point and Noosa for helpers that don't have their own transport.

I work as a registered nurse and have great interest in Community Development and Permaculture. I speak Japanese (somewhat diminishing over the years) and have taught Aikido.

I studied Aikido in Japan for 8 years, and have continued to practice and teach(intermittently)over the last 30 yrs. I have a massage /exercise pagoda in my garden if anyone is interested in exercise, Yoga and/or meditation they would be very welcome and of course anyone else interested in seeing a beautiful part of Australia, meaning - Boreen Point, Noosa and Fraser Island.

The work would include gardening, cleaning, light handiman work and light maintenance.

The accommodation I offer is a very comfortable rustic caravan, surrounded by a small permaculture garden, your private own space, outside kitchen and your own shower or a room in the house if you prefer. Also could offer the campervan in the garage.

Looking forward to meeting you
Happy traveling Kate
