Hello,
We can offer you a nice place to stay and help from april till halfway october. We like you to stay for at least two weeks and work together with us and our Dutch volunteers.

In other periods we still have place for you.
In our big organic garden with a beautiful design we grow, show and conserve as much as possible vegetables and other eatables. We grow over 300 kinds of potatoes and vegetables, many different nuts, herbs, flowers, fruits and more than 80 varieties of berries, We sell the products of the gardens on markets, to restaurants and in a selfservicestand alongside the road. In the summerperiod we organize touristic activities on the gardens. We live in the north of Holland, surrounded by a varied and beautifull countryside. Our gardens are situated in the very special village of Veenhuizen. Nearby is the pleasant city of Assen and the big student city Groningen.
You are very welcome to give us a hand with sowing, weeding, harvesting and a lot of other things that have to be done. As you can read in the reviews the work is sometimes quite hard (that's organic vegetable farming!) but very rewarding. This year we also have a house-on-wheels restauration/ carpenting project so if you are good with wood... We like it very much to work with people from other countries. We provide housing in the farmhouse next to our garden and food for the whole week. There are separate sleeping rooms. The food is as much as possible from our own harvest. We ask you to help with the work in the gardens in a flexible way. Sometimes we need help in the weekend or evening.
