Hello! We are looking for people to help us on our veggie farm. We are located in a beautiful spot on cedar creek, just 30minutes from Brisbane City.

We are a young couple running a relatively new, organic market garden. We are using sustainable, bio intensive methods and currently have 1/4 acre cultivated with seasonal veg. We are constantly growing, however we don't use tractors or machinery, so it's a bit of a slow process.
We are NOT a large scale mono culture farm where the work is repetitive and monotonous, our work is diverse and always changing. You could be; forming rows, sowing seeds, planting out, harvesting, building, mowing, pickling, preserving, cooking or any other number of things that need to be done.

You would be staying in a little private caravan by the creek with us providing 3 meals a day. We ask that you either work 5hours a day to one full day off with meals provided (a second day off is totally fine, you will just have to organize your own food), or work 4hours everyday with all meals provided. There are no hard and fast rules, but that's generally how it works. We are close enough to the city that you can go into town for the weekend if you wish.

Everyone is asked to help out with everyday chores, such as cooking and cleaning, in their own time. Minimum stay of 1 week, but will favor longer stays of preferably 2 weeks or more.

We have a great lifestyle out here with a good work/ play balance, and we eat delicious food! We would love to hear from you ???
