Kia Ora,

We love hosting travellers! The kind of person who fits in real good with us is easy going, into exploring the area, looking for adventure & able to motivate themselves to ask questions & get going with a task. You will not be the kinda person who likes to sit at home on the internet all day or who complains after a few hours gardening ;) ;) ;)

We currently need help with gardening work - weeding, pruning & tidying up. Also Rich may ask you to go bush with him to collect, chop & stack fire wood.

In exchange for work we offer free accommodation in our spare room along with WiFi, fresh eggs & veggie garden use. We offer bicycles if needed, & are close to the local bus route into Rotorua, however, it's best to use your own vehicle to maximise your Rotorua experience. The local shops are a 3 minute walk, this includes a grocery store, laundry service, café, garage, local dairy and other common stores. We offer meals, however, sometimes we'll leave it in the fridge as we do shift work & aren't always home. We are fair hosts & cruisy to get along with. We expect 3-4 hours of work per day, or more one day & less the next etc. We do require a level of independence & self motivation from our helpers.

Sorry, no couples & NO smokers. Minimum stay 5 days, or by specific agreement. Maximum stay ... how long did you want? ;)

If this sounds like you then contact us on the above details as we'd love to meet you & help you get the best out of your NZ visit to Rotorua.

Cheers, Helen and Rich
