Holetown is nestled in the last valley on western Dartmoor in Devon. We look out over the moor, have many acres of ancient woodlands and a beautiful river to swim in.

Our goal is to nurture the environment to its fullest natural abundance, planting wild flower meadows, orchards, food and herb gardens.
Work has now begun and we are currently busy removing invasive species and preparing the land for more native examples and diversity to come. We are at the very beginning of this adventure and invite kind people to help us re-establish nature as the the centre of life.

We are also looking for volunteer tradesmen with skills in carpentry, stonework and general construction.

In your spare time there are endless dartmoor walks and bike rides, river swims, picnics, trees to read under, scenery to paint and we are 4 miles from the market town of Tavistock.

We have redeveloped a number of farm outbuildings as well as well as having bell tents to accommodate volunteers and are looking forward to a wonderfully communal setting.
