Agrofoerstry farm with a working Dairy unit, forestry areas of Pine, Eucalyptus, Kauri Natives, Nut and Fruit trees and 3-400 Paulownia trees, as well as natural feature areas of ignimbrite cliffs left behind as remnants of the Toupo eruption 1800 years ago. We are attempting to create a track through a native planted area from the farm track up to the top of the feature cliff area. A stay of 1-2 weeks would be advantageous in assisting in tackling this project. All tools will be provided, if it is during the Trout season, October 1 - 30 June then there is fishing available with a licence. The Mangatutu stream runs along the boundary of the farm and is clean and swimmable. Tourist attractions in the area are plenty with Waitomo Caves 30 minutes away, Otorohanga Kiwi house 20 mins, Hobbiton, Kawhia, Raglan and Rotorua all within an hour - 1.5 hours away. You will need your own transport if possible, Tess works off the farm so is going to town most days. All linen supplied and washed with eco friendly products as Graham is sensitive to chemicals on the skin.
