Family owned vineyard of 2,000 vines – overlooking TePuna Inlet in the beautiful scenic Bay of Islands – situated 11km (10 minute drive) from idyllic Kerikeri township.
Can accommodate 1 - 2 (mature individuals / couple) to assist with prunning our vines (using secateurs to remove last years canes) No previous experience required.

We provide 1 weeks worK placement... we are able to host several placements throughout June and July

Modern (and very warm) spacious open-plan accommodation (1 Double bed & 1 King Single with own private bathroom facilities) - the entire top floor of our home. Internet and 3 meals a day provided in return for an average of 4 hours work per day. (All evening meals include a vegetarian option as one of us is a non-meat eater - also we require you to assist with the evening dishes :)
No public transport in this area means helpers benefit from own transport.
Kerikeri, in the ‘Far North’ has many waterfalls, coastal/native forest walks and wildlife. We are a 5 minute drive to Aroha Island Eco Sanctuary – forefront in Kiwi habitat and Conservation. A 40 minute drive to the adventure tourism town of Paihia, historical Russell and the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. At the end of our road we have private access to the inlet.
My husband and I are mid to late 50s living in an animal friendly household (cats, budgies and Border Collie dog) Our outside interests (when time permits) include Golfing, Fishing and cooking great food.
