Hello folks. We are currently interstate and are not looking for helpers. We will we back in January and look forward to hearing from people then. In the meantime, below is our profile. Cheers :)

We are a young family who live 1hr 45 minutes south of Darwin on a 150 Ha wilderness block about 30km south of Adelaide River township. There is a near permanent creek running through our block with numerous swimming holes, valleys, hills and escarpments.
Wrigley Creek is about 15 minutes drive from the spectacular Robin Falls and 20 minutes from the local hot springs. Litchfield and Kakadu National Parks are just over an hourís drive away.

We are working to conserve and restore the high quality ecological values of this block. On the land activities include ecological restoration work, fire management and native vegetation regeneration.

Our living areas are surrounded by tropical permaculture food gardens and a crocodile-free dam with waterslide access!

We have 2 friendly dogs.

We are looking for people with enthusiasm to contribute to our ecological vision as well as home and garden developments and maintenance. We will try to match your skills and interests with our range of jobs and will offer food and accomodation for four hours work.

A nearly completed self-contained bush retreat approx. 200m from the main house is available for your accommodation. It overlooks Wrigley Creek, has vehicle access and comes with 240V power, Wifi, fans, double bed, kitchen and composting toilet. There are many great places to set up your own bush camp if that is your preference.

We prefer that you have your own vehicle and there is sealed road access to our driveway.

There is no mobile phone reception around the living areas but you can send and receive SMSs via the Telstra network by taking a 10 minute walk up the hill from your bush retreat or driving up there if you have a 4WD. Limited access to our landline phone is also available from your bush retreat.

This is an excellent opportunity to connect with a young family who are passionate about the Top End and looking forward to sharing our knowledge, skills and truly special atmosphere with others.
