Hello
We live in an old renovated farm on a 3500m2 ground in Périgord between Sarlat and Bergerac in Dordogne: nature, castles, prehistoric caves, Lascaux, 10 of the most beautiful villages of France around...

We do not ask for cheap labour but offer real opportunity to learn skills in carpentry ebenistery (Michel's work), how to do do oak tables, kitchen, doors, parquet, wall of dry stones, cut stones, masonry, roofing, gardening, permaculture etc...
The work is various and shared.
There is a wooden chalet to complete...

There are two places, my place, and Michel's, 10 km away.
Both located only 1km from shops and Railway station.
You might work in one place or another
As we expect to continue until end of june, it can be long term, with a minimum of 2 or 3 weeks.
At the moment both places are full until next update !!!

You can be housed at Michel's in a big gite of 120m2 with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, same age for the atmosphere...
or in my place in a gite of two bedrooms, with a wood stove facing the forest where you could see deers; better for couples or families

Michel doesn't speak english but his son Barnabé 32 does a little.

SKILLS APPRECIATED: TWO HANDS AND A BRAIN :-)

WE also NEED SKILLS in ELECTRICTY and PLUMBING !!
Don't hesitate to contact for more details.

Catherine
PS the station you have to look for is "le Buisson" on the line from Bordeaux or Périgueux
