Communally run 80-acre organic farm. We eat, work & make decisions together whilst sharing a large Welsh stone farmhouse and its outbuildings. We aim to live as lightly as we can with deep consideration and respect for our planet, each other and ourselves. All our power is produced by sun, wind, and water; we grow as much of our food as we can, we use our tractor for carting and haymaking, goats for milk and cheese and aspire to live life slowly enough to enjoy the rich pleasures of this glorious land.

Unfortunately, we can't accept volunteers flying just to spend time with us as the environmental cost of flying far out-weighs the benefit of your visit. Please see our website and Facebook page for more info.

During our volunteer weeks, we offer meals and accommodation for about 5.5 hours of helping a day Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and about 3.5 hours work on a Wednesday morning. At the weekend, and on Wednesday afternoon, your time is your own, to explore the surrounding area, or just chill. We ask people to arrive on Sunday afternoon from 4 pm before the week commences. We try to coordinate to have a tour followed by a meal on Sunday.

HERE ARE THE VOLUNTEER WEEKS WE HAVE AVAILABLE:
THE SPACES ARE FILLING UP FAST SO PLEASE BOOK EARLY WITH US TO NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
18th September - arrive 17th
20th November - arrive 19th

WE ARE RUNNING THREE ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEKS TO COMPLETE OUR LAST SECTION OF DRY STONE WALLING ALONG ONE OF OUR BORDERS.
THE DATES ARE:
9th to 13th October,
6th to 10th November &
4th to 8th December.

You can arrive anytime on the Sunday & leave any time on the Saturdays. You will be offered full instructions & help, full board, three meals a day & basic but comfortable accommodation.
Please bring your own steel toe boots, we do have limited sizing boots. If you cannot arrange your own steel toe boots then please inform us of your size and we can let you know if we have a pair for you to use.
You will also have a tour of our site & the hours are 9am-1pm, afternoons off to rest and explore. We will also put on a film night each week with exciting eco/community films.
