natural horsemanship training centre and eco garden on small farm in south west Cornwall.
its purpose is to provide a haven for people and wildlife.
the smallholding is on a farm in rural west Cornwall six miles from the north and the south coasts.with barn, riding school, raised vegetable and fruit beds and gardens and wildlife pond with nature as priority. My home is a log cabin where the bathroom and kitchen are situated and helpers stay in a tent in good weather or my beautiful studio if there are not paying guests booked in. There is also a guest room in the house for when the weather is unsuitable for camping. I teach holistic horsemanship, work in textile art and have a deep interest in herbs and natural beekeeping.
I need help with horse care, gardening and house maintenance and helpers are expected to help with daily housework.
helpers work 6 mornings a week or afternoons depending on weather. otherwise are free to go off to the beaches, coasts and events that are on all over Cornwall. Public transport is not brilliant near the farm but buses and trains get you to St Ives, Penzance and Camborne.
This place suits physically strong motivated people who want to learn more about sustainable living, herbs and bees, growing organic food, art and horses.
Helpers are welcome who would like the opportunity to work with the horses while helping on the land as we develop this lovely centre.we are developing gardens, fruit orchards and land improvement such as hedge planting, pond building and reseeding. we aim to create a sustainable permaculture centre and hope others will join us here long term. I speak Spanish and would welcome the chance to improve this language
