We had to move out of our old Winery and Pizzeria building about 6 month ago, after getting a short notice to quite from our former landlord. Since then we tried to get the same business up and running on our farm again, which is only 250m away from the old location. It's on the top of the hill and has an amazing view over the Mercury Bay.

Unfortunately we haven't been able to get anything organized for the busy summer season. We did a lot of landscaping and building and have our orchards and gardens ready, but the progress with the local council has been slower than expected.

Now we had the opportunity to cook our Pizzas at our friends cool "Hot water Brewing Company" Brew Bar, which is located in Whenuakite about 10min drive from us (Check out their website, Facebook, HelpX). We will be there until mid April, so we cover Easter and the school holidays after that.

We are looking for self motivated helpers for Costumer service (talking to costumers, taking pizza orders, delivering Pizzas to table,…), preparing Pizzas and ingredients and clearing and cleaning tables. Experience in hospitality would be appreciated, but not necessary.

On slower days there will be some farm work, building and gardening at our home farm to keep you busy.

Own transport would be ideal because of the distance to the brewery. We ask for about 4 hours work a day as well as help with dinner preparations for our selves.
There will be plenty of time to chill and relax and an amazing team to work with. We are looking for people who are team players and love to work hard. Food will be provided; the minimum stay of 3 WEEKS is still the same!

This season is a challenge for us, but we are very excited about the opportunity and we know we will have a great time and gain lots of experience on a new level.
This is the 37th winery in New Zealand and a family operation. Danny, Claudia, Anneke, Bob and Rohan are wine makers, liqueur makers, distillers, orchardists, gardeners and herb and tea growers. We produce a wide range of wines, liqueurs, cider and spirits and sell them in our Shop (Shop is currently closed)

This season will be slightly different. Instead of running our own eatery with the woodfired pizza oven, bar, cafe and a very simple menu (pizza, fried food, salad) we will be serving only Pizzas at the ‘Hot Water Brewing Company’ in Whenuakite.

We are located on the beautiful east coast of the Coromandel Peninsula, right between Hahei and Cooks Beach, near Whitianga in Mercury Bay.

Food, drinks and accommodation as well as rides to Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach etc.. are provided.

We prefer easy-to-feed-helper. Due to our coastal live style we often eat fish and sea food!

In general we are looking for self motivated people who like working in a team as well as independent and want to experience the Coromandel lifestyle with us.

We need people who know how to behave in someone else's house, have experience living on their own or flatting and don't hesitate cleaning up their own mess as well as shared facilities (kitchen, bathroom etc.).

We're looking for helpers who want to stay between 3 weeks and 2 month. We can't take people who want to stay just for a few days or a week.

We have cats which live very close with us, so we can't have people who are allergic to our furry friends.

This year this will be the main tasks:
-Costumer service
-Taking Pizza orders
-Running Pizzas
-Preparing Pizzas and ingredients
-Cleaning and clearing tables
-Bottle washing, bottle filling and bottle labelling

Depending on the season there might OCCASIONALLY be some work to do like:
-General farm work
-Gardening and Orchard work
-Fruit picking

We have a variety of rustic and rural accommodation in a house (limited electricty, out door shower and toilet, wifi and tv with sky only with generator) plus a caravan and a campervan (no electricity) with sheets and bedding supplied as well as food and meals and personal requirements.
The house Bob and Anneke live in has wifi, shower and toilet available, but they appreciate there quiet time between 8pm-7am.
Particulary for this season we need people with there own car or campervan, due to working at another location.
