We are currently looking for helpers for some garden mass plantings in September where the weather is still cool and hopefully the natural irrigation will be plentiful :)

We have a largish urban bush block where we have recently created some paths which give us access to the tricky steep parts of the garden - and now we would like to fill these slopes with native plants. You would be helping to cart soil and mulch from the roadside down to the bottom of the garden, dig holes and fill them with plants, bag them so the wildlife don't munch them on the first night - and celebrate!

We are hoping to plant about 300 small to medium size plants.

Ive put some garden photos on here and a shot of the flat.

We live about 3km from the centre of Hobart and have direct access to the mountain biking and bush walking tracks of Mt Wellington. We are close to the rivulet track which is a cycle/walkway direct to town.

We have a beautiful self contained small studio under the house which we have rented for the last two years on Airbnb which would be available to you - there are more photos of the space and details of home on our airbnb listing via the website link above.

We would love help for this project and welcome people for shorter stays, up to a week. Please email your availability.

Warmest regards - Jo and Gav (with our two boys Clancy and Jack aged 6 and 9)
