I require help now with general grounds maintance as I have many autumn leaves falling. I prefer to have at least 2 people at a time as I also have to work away from the property some days. This property was a commerical trout farm, it was burnt out in the 2003 bush fires.We purchaced the property in Febuary 2007 over run with blackberries and tree suckers. Property has double creek frontage.The pristine Nariel Creek is the main creek.We are in the process of cleaning up the blackberries,dead trees along the banks of the creek to gain access to fish for trout, swimming, canoeing,gold paning and spying the odd platypus.The property is surrounded by crown land with available hunting opporturities for deer, wild dogs, rabbits etc.Spring time there are lots of native wild flowers to be seen. There is a sealed road to the front gate with opportunities for bike riding,bush walking,bird watching.We are growing some of our own vegies organically. There are a few fruit trees. Our goal is to set the propertie up as a eco tourisium property.Helpers will sleep in at Carwen Cottage. You will eat meals with myself(Wendy). The best months to come are from September to April.Winter can be cold and frosty there is still plenty of work to do though.There is a opportunity to do some horse riding.This time of year is the Gardening,Blackberrying(when ripe)swimming, fishing and tubeing down the creek.We are currently building a toilet and shower block on our propertie and need some handy persons skills to help with this.
