We have a 12.5 acre Orchard with 1750 trees consisting of apples(12 varieties), pears(4), plums(6) and mandarins. We operate a 7day a week fruit and vege shop onsite as well as a garden centre. We are also currently in the proceeds of building an Apple Cider Cafe, this is an exciting new project. We believe this will be a first for New Zealand. The cider, apple and pear will be made from our fruit grown on the property also local wines and fresh food. This is to compliment what we are currently doing.

We are located just outside Warkworth, 70km north of Auckland and are surrounded by vineyards, boutique shops (Warkworth) and close to local beaches.

Our home is a large 4 bedroom with spa pool and Sky TV. As you have probably worked out there is an awful lot to do daily.

What require is a person or persons to work a minimum 4 hours per day and in return you will have own bedroom and the use of our home with meals supplied, breakfast(cereal, toast jam etc) help yourself, lunch (sandwiches with fresh fillings) and cooked dinner each night. If you wish to cook the evening meal, no problems. Couples also not a problem.

We are older parents with a 10year old boy, 3 dogs and 1 cat and are fun loving people who enjoy meeting overseas people from other cultures.

Minimum stay 5 days, smokers welcome but no smoking in the house. Existing registered helpx members only.
