Current update - we are pausing our invitation because we have found semipermanent helpers. Thank you for your interest anyway..... ORIGINAL PROFILE: Hello :-) My name is Lee. I have a big beautiful peaceful property in Mangalore, 45 minutes north of picturesque Hobart Tasmania.

Tassie would have to be one of the most beautiful freshest states in Australia! My property is 8 ha (20 acres), 2 acres are house and gardens and the rest is divided into paddocks and sheds, it is nearly all flat so it is great for my wheelchair. We are surrounded by trees and water ponds (some with fish) with lots of birds, lots of rabbits, a couple of kangaroos, a couple of hares, one reclusive porcupine, sheep (currently having babies!), chickens and a whole host of wallabies and other wonderful creatures :-)

At the age of five I was hit by a car so I have been confined to a wheelchair for over three decades! I am a quadriplegic, this means I am paralysed from the neck down and I require total physical care nearly all of the time. I am a very patient, positive, happy and ambitious man who inspires careers in the music and movie industry (as a writer). I believe in a future of peace, Love and self sustainability and I am working towards that.

We have a unique scenario to offer someone. Next to the main house we have a gorgeous one-bedroom self-contained cottage that has been fully renovated. In exchange for that accommodation we are seeking a female (or a couple) who would be happy to provide four hours of work Monday to Friday. Saturday/Sunday are free time for yourself if you choose.

Besides the free accommodation for your daily assistance you also have the option to supplement with other work if you are happy to become a member of my caring team (I have a team of seven carers). The caring hours depend on other factors but cottage working hours and caring working hours must be kept separate.

The cottage will be available at the end of September 2017. I live with my father (John, 64) and he is my primary carer. Basically we need someone to assist him on the property or in the garden or in the main house. There is and always will be lots to do! Were looking for someone who is productive, happy, willing to help wherever possible and if you are going to become one of my carers it would be wonderful if you have a lovely caring heart :-)

It would be great if we could communicate (email is easiest for me) in the weeks prior because I believe making a connection with someone is extremely important, especially when you are going to live here but even more so if you become one of my carers You do not need any previous caring experience or certificates as I am happy to train you in all areas (I have trained lots and lots of people). I can give you much more information on the caring side of things at a later date. Im more than happy to answer any and all questions.

Due to the fact that my property is out of town and not on a regular bus route, and of course because I am unable to drive you anywhere, it would be best for you to have transport. This is not absolutely necessary but it would be easier. If you do not have a car then we will simply overcome that, no problems! It would also be a bonus if you had your full travel health insurance.

Hopefully my little scenario is of interest to you, we are open to any nationality or any age. Thank you for your time in reading my profile.
