Lots of birds and bunnies (all accepted and welcome) Two beautiful white swans.
Orchard of twenty trees includes avocados four varieties.
Area of mown lawns/groves is 2.2 hectares mown weekly by Graham with a powerful machine. All very neat and peaceful. 200m of handmade rock walls. 200 metres of gravelled driveway and 200 metres of concrete driveway. Two electric self-opening gates. One lovely dog called Gemma. No longer any cats (sadly)
Rural: rich volcanic soil.
313 sm modern two story four bed house. PLUS a new self contained UNIT for use of helpers/guests. This UNIT is fully independent and is equipped for comfort:the kitchen is brand new with electric cooktop and microwave oven.

Please help Graham prune trees with pole chainsaw and tidy up. Odd jobs about the property as Graham broke his back and can only work from his quad bike. This is an excellent handy location for day trips to the North (Doubtless Bay, Ninety Mile Beach,Cape Reinga): West (Hokianga Harbour and giant Kauri tree): East to Paihia, (boat trips, islands and historic Russell.)
Graham goes surf beach fishing with a torpedo longline (catches BIG snapper) and it might be possible to make a day trip north to a remote beach for this, 4x4 access only, no promises, weather has to be OK.
We are 16kms to Kerikeri CBD (main shopping village) : 10 kms to Kerikeri Airport: 18km to Paihia (beach and ferries)
Ask to stay EXTRA DAYS FREE, we will enjoy seeing you enjoy your visit.
This is a lovely base location perfectly positioned for your explorations. Graham is a retired Bay of Islands cruise skipper, Noelle is a retired receptionist and Hydrographic Office cartographer. Gemma is simply retired.
All our guests are non-smokers.
The white swan's names are Prince and Princess.
Noelle and Graham are sixth generation New Zealanders. Graham writes and publishes non-fiction books. My website details are available on request.
PS our first ever helper (from France) is leaving us tomorrow (17 October) after staying for 17 days. Is this a NZ record?
