Come and help out in our beautiful hostel in the heart of RURAL Andalucia, in Los Corrales, Sevilla region, and enjoy a stay unlike any other; it's your home away from home!

Looking for 1 person from 7-8th Feb, MUST have painting/mural experience, we have 3 walls left in our garden area to work on, some large metal doors to paint and possibly another 1/2 smaller wall projects in our reception - all over the next 2 months but we just ask for a project to be completed before you leave - so we need ppl to stay at least 2 weeks and to only start something you can finish! :-) We may have some cleaning up of our garden area (waterblasting, sweeping, moving heavy things) and possibly re-furbishing or making furniture for outdoors and a little gardening.

You will be sharing a dorm room with 2 other girls and a guy. Ideally must speak Spanish (at intermediate level as most of our customers are spanish) and English fluently. Other Languages are a bonus as is having a car as we are quite remote; not essential though.

We are looking for keen and enthusiastic, team-playing volunteers looking to experience the hospitality business. We need girls willing to muck in and do the hard and dirty stuff and guys who are willing to clean. We look for people with previous hostel and cleaning experience if possible, mature, trustworthy, can take the initiative with what needs doing, and people who are confident and able to be left in charge of the place if need be which means multitasking and being responsible for everything in the hostel.

Help is varied and we think exciting. The managers can't do everything so we need people willing to muck in and work as a team, especially with the daily clean. Sometimes you will be meeting and greeting guests checking them in, mingling; other times you might be conducting creative tasks. There are also general handyperson jobs in the property.

LOOKING FOR/EXPECTED TASKS: Cleaning experience is a must as we clean everyday, hostel knowledge is a plus; as we look for responsible mature and confident people who may be left in charge occassionally; collecting firewood/starting log fires morning and evenings, breakfast set up, interacting with guests, cleaning and upkeep of heating and water systems, cleaning and upkeep of swimming pool, perhaps people with DIY experience to build furniture/decking etc, artists/creative people, people with experience in Marketing/advertising/social media.

PROVIDED: Shared Dorm Accommodation provided as is a small weekly food budget (10 euros per person). We also include breakfast (cereal/toast/juice) plus tea, coffee and Hot chocolate all day.

WORK: is around 2-4 hours a day, around 5 days a week, and at least 1-2 days off. You will also be expected to provide cover for at least 1 day for when we ourselves have time off - so this means reception and admin too, but as we are not that busy, this is just making sure you are around to answer calls or emails or deal with a check-in or two if need be, and be responsible of the operation of all systems etc of the hostel, but we don't expect you to work allday! Therefore, as there is some money handling etc, we look for trustworthy people.

PEOPLE here at the moment/overseeing helpers: We are new Managers, live-in, a French and English couple, Christina and Pierrick, 28 and 30, who have managed hostels before in New Zealand. We love travel, meeting new people, having an adventure! The owners of the Hostel are an English couple who still live in England, Clive and Siobhan and their daughter, Grace, and occasionally come out to visit.

We want to create a fun, informative and chilled atmosphere and generate more/new customers (the hostel only opened in April 2017). The hostel is very rural, if you have a car, perfect, if not, there are plenty of amenities in our town Los Corrales, but we need people who are comfortable in a quiet, rural, very Spanish area. There are buses to places nearby and trains to/from Campillos, Osuna and Antequera between places like Malaga, Granada and Seville and we can always pick you up from a nearby town.

We have a swimming pool on the patio, and on warm days you can relax out on the beautiful balcony. We also have a spacious lounge and dining area next to our fully equipped kitchen (where there is a fridge available to store your own food and drink), with Satellite TV, Wi-Fi and a toasty log fire in winter.

We are close (1.5hrs) to the centres of Sevilla, Granada, Malaga, Ronda, and even closer to Osuna, El Caminito Del Rey, El Coto Las Canteras, La Ruta De La Pueblo Blancos, Campillos.
