A smallholding of 4 acres, in a very scenic part of the West of Ireland, half way up a forested mountain, overlooking and within walking distance of a lake and Kilronan Castle.

I can host One person, preferably outdoor type who loves forests and making firewood, is handyman, over 25, mature and responsible.

Woodworker,who can Fit a timber facia and soffit to timber cabin roof. The timbers are already prepared and protectd ready to go up. I do need someone to Prepare and paint with protector, the two gable ends of my small Timber cabin, I have done the ground floor level that I can reach as you can see in the photos.

Clearing Moss Weeds and Trees.

Firewood Chopping, and some Small Tree removal and Pruning: You must be able to use an Axe and Bow Saw, the tree's have already been cut into logs with a chainsaw.

General Home Maintenance:
People with Carpentry, Electrician and
Plumbing to help replace plastic water tank and set up an overflow system and maybe help re-fit a shower room, and reposition hot water tank in the shower room).

Most of these jobs are small and would only take a day or two each with the right person and weather conditions.

Your Accommodation:
Your own Private Bedroom in a Timber Cabin with shared Bathroom facilities on the same level. No Shower.
Bath has mixer tap/shower head for washing hair.

Washing Machine, Dishwasher, Unlimited Wifi. Satellite TV. Spring Water. House & Bath water is free from Chlorine and Fluoride.

Food will be provided for you to make your own Breakfast. Lunch/Evening meal provided each day, or if you love to cook, this can also be shared.

There are two nearby villages with shops and pubs, and Traditional Music nights nearby. Train stations within 20 miles at Carrick-on-Shannon.
