We are situated near the entrance to Wells Gray Provincial Park which is famous for its waterfalls, geological sites, history, and many out of the way alpine hiking trails and sights to see. River rafting options just down the road. Clearwater is a rural community about 120 kms. northeast of Kamloops.
We are not a "fancy" family. Take us as you find us. We offer a rustic two man tent as accomodation, with a thick, comfy, queen size foam mattress. You may cook your own meals in our kitchen, or eat with the family. Internet use at specified times. We have a busy family with 18, 13 and 11 year old boys. Our 21 yr. old daughter lives with us seasonally. She has travelled extensively throughout New Zealand and Australia. She makes a good tour guide for you when she is at home.
We do travel moderately throughout the summer, so may not always be available. But give us a call. We love meeting new folks and showing off our wonderful area.
We require some gardening work, yard work, housework, handyman jobs. We also have miniature horses, so if anyone is familiar with horses, they are always needing to be groomed,fed,and paddock mucked out. Our boys drive our gelding, Smoke n' Fire, so you will be able to go for a ride. Hope to hear from you!
