We are a association that helps abused and abandoned dogs in this area of Spain.... the shelter houses up to 50 dogs in about 16 pens..... duties would be to clean each pen and provide food and water each day .. takes about 2-3 hours in the mornings to do
I would like to make it clear this is a mucky job picking up dog feces and cleaning the pens .. we have a hose but some things need to be shoveled up
After that you would be free to go out and see the sights but would need you on site on and off during the day and of course during the night... for security
For this job you need to love dogs.. many of them have been abused and have trust issues and it is very fulfilling to see them transform into wonderful stable canines who can then be adopted

The shelter is near the beach and walking distance into town with its many bars and restaurants .. there is a bus station that can take you all over Spain ...

We would prefer a minimum of one months stay so that the dogs are not constantly having to get used to different people

There is a walking group that takes dogs out for walks three times a week and other people come at different times
