Jobs vary and will include housekeeping such as cleaning rooms, cabins & facilities and working in Reception. Work in the gardens includes weeding, landscaping, planting.

We are the only Enviro Gold Holiday Park in Northland and sustainable practices and caring for our native bush and bird life is at the heart of our practices. Four rare birds including kiwis live on the Park.
Enjoy the sunny weather and stunning scenery for which the Bay of Islands is renowned.
We are looking for a solid work ethic, mature volunteers with previous work experience.

A site for a van or tent is another option for two hours work per day. Longer days and more time off is available by prior arrangement when the Parks is less busy.

Our Holiday Park in located in a tranquil native bush/forest location overlooking Orongo Bay, while only 2.5km from the delightful and historic Russell village. Russell is located in the geographic centre of the Bay of Islands. The Russell peninsula is a kiwi and weka protection zone and our Holiday Park has an abundance of native bird life including the endangered north island weka amd kiwi. Birdlife is abundant and we hear kiwis all year round
We are committed to sustainable practices including energy management, solar hot water, recycling, planting native plants and supporting local conservation efforts. We are a sponsor of Project Island Song, revegetating the islands of the Bay of Islands to encourage native birdlife and you can visit and see the work that has been done on Urapukapuka Island, or volunteer to assist with this project if you wish.

We have a swimming pool, walkways, cycle trail and walks are nearby. Lots of activities are on offer in the area including swimming sailing, diving, kayaking, fishing, historic sites, galleries, museums, maori culture and birdwatching.
