Hi, we will have work available after january 10th 2013. We have nothing at the moment though.
We have a self contained room with ensuite and small kitchenette (with toaster and kettle, and utensils and small fridge) that looks out over the estuary and mountain and farmland of Raglan. We are about 4 km on the south side of Raglan, it takes about 4 minutes to drive to Raglan. You could bike there, but it's uphill on the way home!
Raglan has great beaches and surfing, art galleries, cafes etc... It has a humming little international community as well with many travellers making a stop here.
We have two children aged 10 and 97, I (Amanda) am an artist and Jules works in Hamilton. We enjoy hosting and meeting people! We have a small property with 5 chickens, a vege garden, lots of small native plants, and plenty of general gardening work to be done. Also, I would like some more vege gardens built. Someone with a green thumb would be an added bonus. Our property is quite new and we are still establishing good soil and landscaping etc.
You will be able to get your own breakfasts and lunches, and we can offer evening meals, but we are flexible on this. There will probably be around 4 hours work a day.
