Hobby farm with 80 breeding white sheep and 50 black and coloured sheep bred for woolcraft.
Biddy is a fibre artist working from her studio in woolcraft, spinning, knitting, crochet and dyeing wool. Lessons are available in all ascpects of wool craft by arrangement. Gore is the brown trout capital of N.Z. The Mataura River is a great river for fishing and flows through the town. Gore is also very central to many tourist attractions like Queenstown, TeAnau, Milford, Bluff, Stewart Island and the Catlins.
