I live in a large family home with my 18 year old son on a beautiful outer suburban property with a creek. It is not a farm but has a large garden (very neglected at the moment and needing some care). I have an art studio where I conduct art classes for children. The home is located in the Perth hills about 25 minutes from the city centre. The accommodation is a large bedroom in our house for two singles or a couple. The room has its own entrance door onto the surrounding deck. There is a shared bathroom and a large family kitchen.
I would need 12 hours help from each person for one week, accommodation only. Additional hours would be negotiated depending on the food/meals required. Full board, that is accommodation and three meals each day would require 4 hours work each day for 6 days. The help I need is mostly general gardening and some special garden projects. House maintenance and general home care is also needed. Would welcome a couple or 2 single people, independent, crea... more inside

Horse and cattle farm in the Hunter Valley.

VACANCY AVAILABLE!

Prospective helpers, please read the list of tasks, these require a person with horse experience as you will not be constantly supervised.

We would like a helper/ groom mainly with daily horse related tasks ( but no stables to clean as the horses live outside), and to assist me at home as well as at dressage competitions with the horses, so a suitable person would be capable and confident of handling show horses in a safe manner and taking instruction when necessary. Although I show dressage horses, all of our ground work and early work under saddle follow the principles of natural horsemanship and particularly that of Buck Brannaman.

Duties would also include feeding and watering our 5 dogs, occasional cattle work, gardening, fencing and paddock maintenance, so a self motivated and energetic person would be appreciated.

We would like to share our family home with our helper, who would have their own... more inside
