Hi, my name is Peter. I have lived in Agnes Water for around 17 years.
I have been hosting international visitors for about 5 years now and have hosted people from many countries such as France, Germany, Austria, Brazil, Spain, America, South Korea, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Italy, Denmark, Switzerland, Taiwan, Israel, England and Belgium. (several of my visitors have even returned for a second stay at my home). I like to spend time with my visitors and get to know them. I particularly like to help people to improve their English and show them around the local area. I am happy to welcome helpers direct from their own country and help you to get started on your working holiday in Australia. I would recommend a minimum 2 week stay here to get you started and a month or more if you need some help with your English and communication skills.
I have a large DVD collection and I have found that watching movies with my visitors can be very helpful with improving their English skills. I oft... more inside

**We need people who are happy to do gardening and house & window cleaning**

Nestled in 2.5 acres of forest, our home is our sanctuary; our own little slice of paradise. Originally from New Zealand, we have lived in Switzerland, the UK, South East Asia and now Australia. We have a global and tolerant outlook on life. We have 3 generations living here, but with the exodus of the younger, the slowing down of the elder, and the menfolk involved in competition sport, we find we are now in need of help in and around the property. Please note, we prefer not to host smokers as our daughter has lung problems, and we are not able to sign for 2nd year visas.

Our home is in an environmentally sensitive area, and in particular, we have breeding & feeding areas for the endangered Richmond Birdwing Butterfly. We have ornamental gardens, a large vegetable garden, a small orchard, a flock of free-range chickens, four cats between two households and a lot of fish. We incorporate organic and pe... more inside

Working Family looking for trust worthy people (preferably a couple) to help around the house, with yard work, setting up a veggie garden, looking after the pool, and some 'handy man' jobs.

We have a very spacious self contained granny flat, with private patio. Close to the small town of Mareeba, but far enough to be out in the bush. Fantastic area in the Far North Queensland to explore.

Easy going and looking for just around 2-4 hours of work a day. Beautiful 30 acre property, with a pool, creek, use of canoes. Get to see the Australian wild life just here in the back yard, with plenty of Roo's, frill neck lizards and even fresh water crocodiles!!!

Looking forward to enrich your Australia experience!!

A touch of paradise, 3 hours north west of Brisbane, easy to get to by bus or I can pick you up by arrangement. I travel to Brisbane frequently so I'm happy to pick you up and drop you off wherever you would like from sunshine coast to the Gold coast.

I live just 5 minutes from the little town of Nanango but in total isolation. My living arrangements are very primitive. All my water is tank water, drinking water is filtered rain water, you can't get better. Most cooking is done on open fire, yum!

There are 7 hens and 2 sheep that help me keep the weeds and grass under some form of control (until we have rain). I have many building projects in mind, fencing to help keep my sheep from wandering, retaining walls, vege gardens (making, maintaining and harvesting), tool shed, clearing lantana and many more. Slowly working through the list but some need more hands than I have. I have accommodation for 1 or 2 people, meals provided.

At the moment, because of all the lovely rai... more inside
