I have a place available right now!

Long or short term stay available.

I prefer a longer term stay for a compatible person. There is a short trail period for us both to decide if we will extend your stay.

Family home nestled in beautiful Australian rainforest just outside Brisbane.

You will see wildlife, birds, reptiles, lots of nature and even occasionally a kangaroo.

I have three children and two cats.

I can only take one person. I cannot take couples or more than one person.

I offer food and accommodation in exchange for four hours work a day. If you stay for a week you have one day off.

HELPERS WITH SOME BEE EXPERIENCE WILL BE ESPECIALLY WELCOME.

We are commercial beekeepers, producing honey, bee pollen, package bees and queen bees. We provide managed bee pollination services to a variety of horticulturalists, and also export live honeybees and queens. We have up to 300 hives and 500 nucleus hives on the property at any time, and many more at other locations.
However we do not cultivate any crops, or raise and manage any other livestock.

Our property is natural bushland surrounded by the Moore River National Park, and is approximately 150km (2 hours drive) north of Perth, and 30km from the coast. It is not serviced by public transport, so it helps to have your own vehicle particularly if you need to go sightseeing or surfing!
