We are seeking people that are interested in accommodation (self contained), food and horse riding lessons with the ability to ride in some amazing picturesque surroundings with excellent mountain rides and trails in exchange for 5 hours work 5 days per week. Jobs undertaken will include general horse husbandry duties, farm and garden maintenance and household chores. There are also other animals that may need attending to such as dogs, chickens, cattle and sheep.We are only 5 minutes drive to the quaint township of Wingham and only half an hours drive to pristine beaches of the Mid North Coast. Located in the beautiful Rainbow Region of Northern New South Wales, Australia, our farm is just fifteen minutes walk from the colourful and arty town, Mullumbimby. There are many beautiful places to visit around us. Amazing beaches, wonderous waterfalls, rainforest walks, fantastic markets and the well known town Byron Bay. We are 40 minutes drive from both Ballina and Coolangatta airports. Our small town has a large supermarket, cafes, pubs and art galleries.
We are just in the beginning stages of establishing market gardens, landscaping our common areas, building and renovating. There are opportunities for general farm work, natural building, carpentry, cleaning, harvesting, creative activities and cooking. We have chickens, cows and horses on the property as well as two farm dogs, bunny rabbits and a cat.

beautiful quiet farm on the blackwood river ..help needed with animals and organic vegetable and fruit tree garden . I have chickens , sheep , cats ,fish and many birds that visit my garden wanting to be fed .. . as my farm is on the longest river in western Australia the Blackwood river there is beautiful bushwalking and you will see many kangaroos and wildflowers.. like to sit by the fire end of the day and have a glass of red wine and watch the sun go down waiting for my chickens to go to their house as they free range and I have to watch out for wild foxes. I am a widow and open minded and I have travelled the world so we can share many stories .i enjoy cooking Chinese and European food. smokers are welcome ..

Hi. We have a 10 hectare established vineyard with a big private lake in the lower south west of Western Australia. Four hour drive from Perth - the nearest town 15 kilometers away (with bus stop to Perth). Easy going family of four with two small children and another relative living on the property. Lots of pets plus a few sheep. Happy to host couple or single workers who wish to gain vineyard and English speaking experience.
We offer food, accomodation and friendly smiles in exchange for a 4 hours work in the vineyard each day (2 days off per week). We are happy to show you around the local area when we have some time off.

An owner built 3 bedroom home with over 300
koalas,500 kangaroos and heaps of bird life,on a semi rural island in a 150 km long lake system.
I am a 64 year old male ,and live by myself.
Visitors will have Two private bedrooms to choose from.
One has a queen size double the other has Two single beds.I often have Koalas in the trees outside these bedroom windows!Also kangaroos in the back yard.
I need help with general gardening,mowing lawns,firewood and vacuuming and dusting because of health problems.I had a mild stroke that has made things difficult.I live about Four hours from Melbourne(300 Km.)by train. ,07.15 A.M.from Southern cross Station this arrives at about 11.14 A.M.(sometimes)at Bairnsdale and I can pick you up from the train at Bairnsdale and drive you to Paynesville and the ferry to my Island.

Vacancies from early August. We give preference to couples and non-smokers and those having experience with carpentry, gardening, working with hand tools and/or building. It would also be useful if you had your own car. Like many hosts, we do require to see a photo of you (both) on your profile before we reply.

We live in Far North Queensland near World Heritage rain forest, just two minutes walk to a long quiet sandy beach at the edge of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and a 30 minutes drive from Port Douglas. There is a small coral reef close by and not far offshore are three small tropical islands.

We enjoy sea fishing, snorkelling, sailing, scuba diving and nature in general, including bird-watching, rainforest and beach walks. We have a fibreglass dinghy (small boat) with 30 hp outboard motor, a two-person, Hobie Adventure Island trimaran kayak and canoe with 4 hp outboard motor, all around 5.5 m length. We live on a small farm near Bangalow which is about 15 minutes drive from Byron Bay in Northern NSW.

We are looking for a couple of people to help with a variety of work on our property. The work will involve fencing, gardening, planting, some cleaning and general work around the farm. Currently, we have a lot of fencing to do and also some building work. Skills in that area would be a great help. There will be opportunity for extra paid work as well.

You need to be motivated, capable, strong and able to work both independently and under instruction.

We have clean and comfortable accommodation for you to stay in (separate to the main house…see accommodation images below) The accommodation consists of a bedroom and living room with kitchenette facilities and tv. Wi-fi is also available.
