We have a small 4 acre Lifestyle/Hobby Farm north of Auckland which has a few alpacas, Goats, Chickens,Pheasants, Parrots, Ducks, Dogs, Cats.
My husband is a vetenarian and I am a stay at home mum with only one 16 year old at home. We have space for up to 2 persons and love having guests to stay in return for some help around the gardens, Weeding, tidying Planting, feeding animals, maybe a bit of help around the home depending on the weather and what you are happiest to do. We are a very easy going family.
Our property is only 10Km from Orewa's Shopping Centre and it's beaches and 35Km,30min,from central Auckland.

I have a few projects coming up over Winter including a major project on the house,as well as garden,property and property improvement,etc.
It is possible that I will have paid work as well,
I am looking for a person who is a good cook with a bubbly personality and is a mucker inner,not afraid to get their hands dirty when required.
I live on Medlands Beach where there is great Surf,Fishing,Diving,Kayaking and Swimming.Also not far from Scenic Treks,Mountain Biking,Horse Treks,Hot Pools etc
Great Barrier is an Extremely Beautiful,if not, Majestical Island,a World of its Own,with plenty to do and many places to explore.
With a population of approx 800 we are not connected to the national grid.Everyone relies on their own independent power system,some better than others.
I am very easy going and very much enjoy showing off the island as well as its Outdoor Pursuits to friends and visitors.

Macadamia growing and processing. Nut harvesting and dehusking in late winter and early spring, help with processing nuts, other farm work which is generally relatively light. As well as 400 mature Macadamia trees there are five kunekune pigs with piglets and some clucky Bantam hens. 4 hours help per day, very relaxed atmosphere. we prefer people who have at least 5 years life experience since leaving school. Bombay and Pukekohe within walking distance for energetic walkers, otherwise, own transport is an advantage, easy access to Auckland exists via trains from Pukekohe.

Volunteer Opportunity available on horse farm.
We have 50 horses and operate a horse trekking business through scenic farm land, nice trees and native bush. Our customers come from many different countries (currently mainly Japanese, Chinese and Korean, South Africa, Middle East and Europe).
If you want to come and help us you need to like horses, have had some English style riding experience, like meeting people from many different countries. Be teachable and be prepared to help beginner riders and those who speak English as a second language.
Minimum stay period is 3 weeks.

Much of the work is involved in establishing and maintaining the orchards and gardens. We ask that people help us for 5 hours each day. We hve some shared and some private meals, more shared during the summer months when we are able to use our outside dining area and brick oven.While you are staying with us please consider our home as if it were your own. We have free access to the internet for emailing, browsing and telephony. Accomodation for guests is in small cabins.
Our farm is quite close to Auckland but is not on a direct bus route so we usually pick people up from the city. Many workers stay with us as a base to start their travels in New Zealand and return at the end if they are flying out again through Auckland.

We need assistance maintaining our 2 acres of native bush, creating walkways,chainsawing trees, scrubcutting, weedeating(strimmer), weed-spraying and general maintenance depending on the season.We normally don't have Wwoofers during Winter. Hi, we are a friendly German couple living in South Auckland, 10-15 min. drive from the airport, train connection into the inner city (approx. 25 min) and like to meet up with people from all over the world.
We have half an acre (almost organic) garden, a peaceful oasis at the edge of the city, with lots of fruit trees and currently restoring an old brick house.
We are looking for mature people (25+ years) who can work independently, clean up after themselves, have proven experience in sanding, woodwork, painting, wall papering or gardening/landscaping (knowledge in pruning trees would be great), or setting up a website and don't mind cleaning projects. We are a busy little place and looking for helpx travelers please for the following;
1. Somebody to help with outside tasks, ongoing maintenance and upkeep of vegetable garden, mowing lawns, weedeating etc.
2. Person responsible for feed out of pigs chickens in mornings & afternoon regardless of the unpredictable NZ weather. Checking stock, fencing and water troughs over property.
3. Housekeeping - inside tasks, window cleaning etc.
We own pigs, chickens, dogs, cats, goats, sheep & horses. Situated between Helensville & Kaukapakapa, 40mins drive from Auckland City. Within minutes driving distance to Muriwai Beach & Woodhill forest.
A friendly atmosphere, 5hrs day in lieu for food/accommodation you will learn basic farm management skills and interaction with livestock.
Wireless internet available only for emails and skyping family.
