We have a 9 unit motel and holiday park which accommodates campervans/tents/and buses. We can offer a self contained motel room or an on site caravan, free wifi, some meals in exchange for general cleaning duties/maintenanace work and painting.Would love to have someone for a long term as then we can offer some paid hours but of course we welcome any proposals.Putaruru is close to "everywhere" and though not essential, having your own vehicle will allow you to enjoy so much more of what the Waikato has to offer. We are both maori and I think we can provide other perceptions and cultural perspectives to your visit.

A large garden needing pruning, growing seeds etc, transplanting, identification and labeling, re-potting, lifting bulbs etc. We are also developing a further half acre. Weeding where necessary. The garden is open to garden groups and coach tours so needs to be kept tidy & interesting. We try to grow most of our vegs and freeze peas, broad beans etc for the out of season months. I could do with help a couple of weeks in May/June (winterish) & also a couple of weeks Aug/Sept (spring). Own transport necessary.

Our home is a New Zealand lifestyle block based 20 mins from Hamilton, and just 12 minutes from the coastal town of Raglan - a bohemian hideaway, with one of the best left-hand surf breaks in the world. There are a host of eateries, coffee shops and activities available here, and it's a great place to explore. On the property, which is based in a rural location, we have 1 horse, 2 dogs and 2 cats, we don't have children. We have an older style weatherboard home, that includes a spare room with a queen bed for helpers. We love to travel, and this is our way of meeting like minded people and to enjoy their travel stories as well as helping us on our property for a few hours each day. Work here could include helping in the vegetable garden, helping to build fences, planting trees, strimming (or weed-eating as it's called in NZ!), splitting fire wood, mowing lawns, or inside help with housework (cleaning, vacuuming and dusting). We're looking for someone to come and help us during June ...

We are a small family with one pre school child. We live on a 10 acre property. We are raising a few calves, a couple of pigs and we have a large vegetable garden and orchard. We have dogs and a cat.
Sue works full time and Luca stays home looking after our child and keeping the property ticking along.
We are looking for help with building, gardening, general maintenance and anything else that comes up. We like the beach, cooking and gardening. We live in a quiet, peaceful place 5km from Ruapuke Beach and about 20km from Raglan (check out Raglan www.raglan.net.nz). There is no public transport where we live so own transport is prefered
We offer separate accomodation with own bathroom and shared meals. The separate accomodation is a large open space studio with couch, king size bed, with television and DVD. Internet is available in main house only. At the moment we could use a hand with general garden work, staining house, cutting and splitting firewood, fencing, some b...

Dogs, dogs dogs. If you like dogs then this is the place for you. We have a few show dogs and also breed occasionally. We have a small lifestyle block about 12 km out of town in an area surrounded by dairy farms. The work would involve helping with the dogs and a little housework.Probably about 3 or 4 hours a day. The position is for a female only and she will be given full board and accommodation in a large bed /sitting room with en-suite. She will be treated as one of the family, given help with learning and improving English if needed. She will be taken with us when we go out and given an opportunity to travel. Our preference is for someone from overseas who is willing to stay for 3 or more weeks Previous experience with animals is not required.

Hi everyone, we are a family of 5 living on a 1/4 acre section in small rural town in the Waikato, North Island, NZ. We have chickens a rabbit and 4 dogs, 2 of which my husband sled races with in Winter. We have lots of vegie gardens and are trying to plant many native trees and shrubs around our home for birdlife. We try to keep our gardening practices as organic as possible. Colin is a Deputy Principal in a local school and I am an artist and work from home. We would love help with any of the following: gardening, small building jobs(dog runs and fences), and general help in the house( I have had back surgery so am limited at times with what I can do:) We are only a 15min drive to many bush walks and to hot mineral pools (I am happy to drive you there), and only 1 hour from many beaches. We also run a Buddhist Centre and have a meditation room in our home:)
