Hi - we are currently looking for someone as our lovely Welsh couple finish up last week of November We prefer someone who can stay around month mainly to help out with the horses. Must have some previous experience with horses.

We are a fun (maybe crazy) family (2 boys and a girl - all at school), a heap of horses and ponies, dog, cats, calves, and chooks. Living in rural Waikato but only 1 hour from Auckland, Coromandel and Hamilton. Our life is busy and never boring, always lots happening.

We would love help mainly with the horses and ponies. Caring for them, including feeding, and riding if capable. Also general lifestyle jobs like feeding chooks, collecting eggs or feeding hay to the calves. We would treat you as part of the family but you would have your own living space with a lovely spacious separate building near the house but on its own. We will supply food and accommodation in return for your help.

Looking forward to meeting travelling folks from around th... more inside

We live on a 20 arce lifestyle property in rural North Waikato. It is a small but busy property. My partner & I have 3 children, 1 girl aged 13 & 2 boys aged 11 & 9. We raise beef cattle & have a number of ponies. In the summer we make hay ourselves on the property. I also run a business from home which I produce & sell chutneys, jams & sauces. I work away from home locally 1-2 days a week (usually during school hours). My daughter & I ride horses & ponies & the boys ride motorbikes. I give riding lessons and we have an arena & also access to large areas of farmland for riding over. We often travel to competitions. You will have the opportunity to be involved in our family activities & watch the children's sports. At times I need help with housework & childcare, sometimes cooking if you like to. There is also work outside on the property and work helping look after the animals. You will also get to meet other local families & their children & some of them also host help... more inside

This time of year the garden needs more care then we can give it. We (50+ Dutch couple,in NZ 25 yrs)are looking for a helper keen on gardening (25 +) with some experience and initiative to help with the tidying and upkeep of our property.

Mainly; weeding, pruning, mowing lawns.

Cooking, dog walking, house work, and other random jobs (e.g.Firewood, painting, DIY) could be on offer too.

Preference goes to an energetic individual who feels comfortable about doing what needs doing around the place without much direction and who is confident with general maintenance type of work and tools and doesn’t mind getting dirty.

We prefer short stays up to 10 days.
OWN TRANSPORT IS A MUST, Non smoking.

We have travelled ourselves and enjoy the company of new people, conversation and exchange of cultures.

This is an ideal situation for someone who needs to improve their English as it is quiet with no other helpers and we have some understanding of French, Dutch and German.

We are a family run medium sized dairy farm, located 10 minutes drive from the township of Otorohanga in the king Country area. We run dairy cows and a small amount of beef dry stock. We also have a small deer operation and various other farm animals.

We have just added a free range egg business to our place, so there are animals galore! Looking after the chickens will be your main job and then we will give you other jobs to make your daily work up to 5 hours per day. If you want to negotiate some days to be longer so you can have days to go off exploring that is fine.

We love meeting new people from other parts of the world and believe this would be a great way to do this. We have three children aged 21, 14 and 12.

We look forward to meeting you.

We love living in Raglan and are sure you will love to stay here too. World class surf, amazing bush and beach walks and a cute wee town with brilliant coffee.

We are looking for a couple, over 25 years of age, who can help us with a range of things from gardening, landscaping, construction works, cleaning and babysitting. We have a spacious Bedroom off our Garage with separate outdoor entrance and an ensuite for you to stay in. The surf breaks are a short drive away so your own car would be beneficial for making the most of what Raglan has to offer. We offer meals and accommodation in exchange for 4 hours of work per day and our helpers are invited to stay for up to three days unless we have a larger project on the go.

We usually only accept helpers who have a few references to back up their wonderful profile. We are a busy family of 6 with a recently completed house build and big dreams for a beautiful garden and are in need of some help.
Our house suits early risers who ... more inside

We ask for 6 hours of help/day and you get your main meals, a very nice double bedroom and unlimited wifi in return. Check out our websites for more info.
Riding is possible if you are experienced in your spare time. We are looking forward to hearing from you! Couples welcome.
If you have knowledge of VAULTING, please contact me :) Our children are very keen to learn more moves!!

Please DO NOT contact me just because you like Raglan - we are rural and the work exchange should be your priority. You can take the bus on your day off to Raglan or Hamilton.

WE NEED HELP FOR a few days from Thursday, 23rd November as I had an injury and have fallen behind in my jobs. Some horse/farm work and general help around the house like cooking, cleaning and gardening. You must love animals and children, be hard working and honest.
