I run a b&b set in 1 hectare of lawns & gardens with tennis court & large pond adjoining farmland. Very peaceful with magnificent views over the lake to Taupo township & Mt Tauhara. There are lots of hiking trails in close proximity. Transport available from gate to Tongariro Crossing. Minutes walk to local shops and walking distance to Taupo township. I share my home with 2 burmese cats and my miniature schnauzer Baxter. I will not require anyone from end June through til beginning September.
Regards, Deb

We occasionally require help with garden work, building work & child care.
You'll have your own nice, private house with private room, modern bathroom & a view of Mt Ruapehu & Mt Doom. We live in an apartment next door to the guest house.
We are a friendly, married couple in our mid 30's with a 2 year old son. We own & operate a coffee roastery & accommodation business. If you're into gardening and garden work, have building experience or love children please get in touch.
We are developing a small organic orchard & organic vege garden.
We're located in Raetihi Village, a small historic town of appx 1200 people, less than 10 mins drive to Ohakune's bustling bars & restaurants and only 25 mins from Turoa Skifield. National Park is 20mins drive away and Whakapapa skifield 45min. The Whanganui River is less than 30mins drive away. Raetihi is sandwiched between the Dual World Heritage Tongariro National Park and Whanganui National Park.

It is now the beginning of May 2013, and I have had a fabulous number of young travellers staying and helping me in my garden and home since the beginning of spring.
It has been fantastic meeting each and every one of you and I have so enjoyed sharing my home and working alongside everyone. The garden and treed gully area looks sooo much better, really great.
I am now away then have family and friends staying through to around the beginning of August, so sorry but there is "no room at the inn" until after then.
I am leaving the rest of my description on this page and will update again soon.ie.
I would really appreciate enthusiastic, motivated people at times to suit both of us, who enjoy helping out with a variety of odd jobs, including weeding, laying compost, pruning, propagating plants, making walking tracts, tending the vege garden and in my home, especially if you have a love of cooking!
My home is situated just 7 minutes from Taupo in beautiful Acacia Bay. Her...

Close to Mt Ruapehu, Tongariro Crossing, magnificent mountain views and always plenty of projects. We have 15 horses for our year round trekking. We are happy for you to ride. We welcome you to come and enjoy the challenge of learning new skills and sharing your own. At this time of the year we are always looking for keen helpers to work with the horses, caring, feeding and riding. In addition there is always work with splitting and stacking firewood, working in the gardens or building fences and if you are interested, helping with building a large extension to our stables. If you are a rider you may be interested in taking more responsibility for working with the horses and if you are not this might be a chance for you to learn. To find out more about us check out our website and see our YouTube video below. Looking forward to seeing you soon. Txt, phone (evenings please) or email Sue

I occasionally like to have help in the garden, or for a few maintenance jobs around the home, four hours a day flexible working time, in exchange for accommodation and meals...three to seven days is a good time frame depending on what wants doing at the time...
A small modernised home with garden and vegetables, in close proximity to the town centre, Bungy Jump and Spa Park ...comfy double bed in own room. I am a friendly happy person, who is interested in health and wellbeing, and cook nutritious meals.
I enjoy having non-smoking people to stay and am happy to show them round the local area.
May 2013.....I don't need anyone at the moment, and will write here when I do need more help.
