I live in Gisborne which is situated on the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand. We are the first city in the world to see the sun each day. Gisborne has a population of 45,000. Gisborne is a great place to live with fantastic local produce and wine in abundance and beautiful beaches.

I am 41 years old, I live with my 18 year old son in my own home very close to the center of town. It is easy walking distance to the shops and the beach.

I would like to host people who that can cook beautiful ethnic meals and that could help out with housework, gardening, mowing the lawn, cleaning my car and whatever else you have to offer. I also have a bag of clothing that needs mending if anyone can sew.

I expect an honest and good 4 hours work, per person, per day and in return I will provide food and accommodation and good hospitality.

I have a small section and have 4 cats, 1 dog (outdoor), rabbit, Indian ringneck parrots and chooks.

I enjoy traveling and meeting ne... more inside

We live on a life style block in Hexton, just 10 minutes from Gisborne town centre and beautiful beaches. We both work full time. We have a son, Angus, aged 11 and a daughter, Grace, aged 8 and a multitude of animals including chickens, dogs, a goat, a kitten, and a pig.

We are new to this adventure but have friends to do it all the time. The expectations seem to be 4 hours work a day in exchange for food and accommodation. While you are with us you will be part of our family. We have a comfortable room in the house that will be yours and we have a bike for you to use.

Presently we are putting in a pool and require help to shift the mound of soil and do some backfilling. Then there will be building a deck to do so if your strengths are in these areas feel free to contact us. We have lots of projects on the go and never enough time to do them so help with any of the following will be appreciated! Painting, Gardening, Cleaning, Cooking, Shed tidying.

"The Farm" as we like to call it is located 30mins out of Opotiki and 2hours from Gisbourne. I run a hunting and fishing business and we have hunters coming to stay regularly, usually a couple a week.on "The Farm" we have 3 horses which need regular feeding,a few sheep and a few cows, plus a lot of deer. when u come to stay here there will be a few little jobs needed to be done for example, some fencing, feeding of the horses, maintaining any vehicles and motor bikes. we also spend the time where not out on the farm horse riding, exploring the amazing uraweras we have at the back of the property and swimming in the river we have below the house.

There is also internet you can use if you have your own lap top, limited use though as the internet runs on satellite and we have a monthly limit so watching you tube and up loading videos is not advised. when your in a beautiful area like this place why spend all your time doing that when you can be out side enjoying nature.
