Hi,
We are a married couple with two young gorgeous boys aged 1 and 3. We have traveled extensively and have settled happily in New Plymouth. We are active, love entertaining, socialising, and meeting new people.
We are open minded, come from a close family, and enjoy the outdoors.
We are open to both long and short term stays, we ask for 4 hours spent helping around the house(cooking and cleaning, laundry), section (mowing lawns, pruning, painting, helping to set up an organic vege garden etc) childcare - playing with the boys, cooking their tea on occasion while we run errands etc etc etc.
In exchange for homecooked or restaurant meals and homestay accommodation in a King size bed, sky tv, wifi, possibly some use of a car or scooter, bike, family excursions and being a part of our family!
We have a lovely 5 bedroom home, a spare double bedroom, warm, and sunny with 3 living spaces and plenty of nooks outside to read and relax.

i have a small farmlet on the outskirts of town,my home is a large old style type where i live with my pet dogs ,cats , and other farm animals. i have an organic garden that i live from over summer but im not registered organic.i work 6 days a week then three days off so you could be home alone a lot of the time but when im there i like to show people around and share a cultural exchange with them and do tramping and anything outdoors.

We live in a quiet, rural, coastal village, 25 mins drive to New Plymouth. As we both work full-time, our general household chores and gardening seems to get neglected. We are urgently looking for 1 - 2 people to house sit from 2nd May till around 13th May.
We are a Waldorf/ Steiner homeschooling family with 3 children under 7. With a busy family life there is plenty to help with inside and out.
We are developing our property with permaculture, biointensive gardening and biodynamics. We have fruit trees, vegetable gardens, chickens and rabbits (for meat). Activities you may help with include animal care, gardening, preserving food - sauerkraut, pickles, bread making, housework, building projects, maintenance, sewing and creative projects.
Health and nutrition is important to us so we eat mainly organic nutrient dense food. Our interests include making and hunting with primitive hunting tools, thai massage, doing yoga and circus performing and teaching and playing music - we have a piano and several other instruments.

The two of us have an avocado orchard with some grazing land at Onaero overlooking the beach. We have no children living at home.
We can offer you food and accommodation ( Queen bed, own bathroom, wifi, non smoking) in exchange for help in the orchard, painting, gardening, repairing fences etc A couple of days working then a day to yourself suits us best. Maximum stay 5 nights Saturday to Wednesday. You will need your own transport.
Approx 20mins drive to New Plymouth city, Pukekura park and the coastal walkway. 45 mins to the mountain. 20 mins to White cliffs walkway. A beach within walking distance.

My kids and I would be happy to share our house in a small coastal Taranaki town with a helper or two happy to help out with jobs around the house and / or cooking a meal. I am also part of a group that has set up a Community garden - totally organic principles, and is setting up a Community Orchard - There's always weeding or planting to do there.
Opunake beach is less than 5 minutes walk away.
The children are there every second week, but helpers will have own room in a tidy house.

I'm looking for an experienced, keen, horse rider to help exercise our three Arabian endurance horses, 2 of them are young horses that have just started their competitive careers under saddle, so I'm really only looking for a confident, experienced rider capable of riding young horses with me over 2000 acres of beautiful neighboring farmland and on the beach. I want a rider to stay for the whole endurance season if possible (August to early April) which means the person will be competing in 40km to 100km endurance rides throughout the North Island.
This will be an awesome opportunity for the right rider to discover New Zealand on a horse, meet a lot of fellow riders and learn and participate in all areas of Endurance competition from feeding, training and all aspects of the sport of Endurance riding in New Zealand.
We live 20 mins from New Plymouth, 6km from the small township of Urenui, where we have a small farm with some beef cows, sheep and also horses.

We are a small Motel in Mokau,which is situated just a short walk to the beach. Mokau is between Hamilton and New Plymoouth.Mokau is a small village with a few shops. Ideal place to stay while you plan the rest of your holiday. We would like a person to do light house work, few hours per day,in May, not every day while our regular cleaner is away. Heaps of time off, right on the coast great surfing and fishing .Own separate room which has a queen size bed and is fully selfcontained. Access to internet for 1 hour per day.Meals supplied. Kayak, fishing rods supplied.
