*looking for helpers around early december for around a week and then we cansee how it goes! ideally a couple or 2 friends. We have some gardening work (pulling out big weeds, some digging) that needs done before it all gets out of control with summer sun! We have a super sunny place, only 200m from surfdale beach and 10mins walk to amazing little oneroa beach!

We are a 30 something couple who work as designers (Alain is an industrial/automotive designer and Sophie is a sports clothing designer. We have lived all around the world (california, amsterdam, italy, zurich, germany) and speak Dutch and German. We love snowboarding, hiking, riding our bikes. Alain loves his classic Porsche 924 which he is restoring and Sophie loves to cook!!!

We are foodies who eat mainly vegetarian food (but will eat ethically raised happy meat on occasion) and organic living people who practise minimizing waste and composting. We hope to one day have a fully functional organic veggie garden.

We are a small family based on Waiheke island close to Auckland with plenty of beaches near by. We have an opportunity for the right person to live on our property in a private cabin.

Accommodation and a food voucher - for self-service food will be provided for the right person in exchange for 4 hours work per day at our property - work will be painting the exterior of our house and ideally suits a practical person with lots of initiative.

The accommodation is a private sleepout with outdoor shower and kitchennete about 60 steps up a path from the main house. There is also a compost toilet further down the path. This is semi hard living in the bush so will not suit anyone who prefers comfortable living.

Please contact us with a very brief summary of your painting experience.

Time frame - 1 - 2 weeks

Many Thanks
Bex & Nick

NEXT AVAILABLE
November 30th Nov 2017

Lovely cute self contained sleep out on a holiday property with your own shower and kitchenette
the outdoor toilet is a proper new toilet only a few steps away.

Situated in Rocky Bay, on the beautiful island of Waiheke.
In exchange for accommodation we need help with gardening, collecting firewood for winter and some labouring building experience would be most helpful as we are still renovating the property.

Our property has lovely bush walks and easy access to two sheltered bays.
2.5 hrs a day in exchange for accommodation for a couple sorry we don't provide meals.
And would prefer a minimum stay of a week.

Need to be tidy and clean and house and garden proud! No smokers. Must be independent.

Transport by bus is very close or hitching is easy on the island with a great local community.

Many thanks.

I am looking for a couple to stay in my very small holiday home, in the flat underneath. I will come over once or twice in the week and stay in the main upstairs part that has the kitchen combined with my bedroom, which they can use the other days. The garden needs landscaping work like clearing weeds , trimming, some planting. The vegetables and newly planted trees would need watering. Some natural spraying of fruit trees and gardening. There is painting and general maintenance things to be done to the small house. A little building work.
I would want 3hours work each a day for 5 days and two days not working. You would need to get your own food and cook as I might not always be there. It is 15 min walk to the bus stop taking them into Oneroa or to the ferry to Auckland. There is a track down to the sea for swimming

Beautiful centrally located 10 acre rural block on the lovely Waiheke Island. We have lots of olive trees, fruit trees, organic garden and a whole host of jobs around the place at any given time. We have a large room with 3-4 beds in it and request 3 hours help per day in exchange for somewhere to sleep and cook. Generally we would want people to stay for at least a week to get a feel for the place and possibly up to a month if everyone is happy with that! We have unlimited internet for guests and a well appointed kitchen in which to prepare food.

Central location on beautiful Waiheke Island.

3 hours per day. Ideally looking for someone with the skills to resurface a deck, and help with garden.

Sorry meals up to you to sort as I am not always round + I suck at cooking.

Two beds per room, but often just one person per room. The mattress and bedding are new and high quality to ensure a comfortable nights sleep.

The bathroom is recently improved, the bach is simple but great location by the beach. Surfdale Shops and bus stop are nearby, and Oneroa Village is 2kms walk or 3 bus stops.
