I am also looking for someone who has worked in the hospitality business before, ideally with holiday rental, as I need a hand from mid Dec to mid Jan 2017 to work with full responsibility if I am not here. Welcome to come any time from now and try it out and help for a week. There is the possibility to stay on after having tried it out and stay here all the way through. It will be based on exchange.
For my helpers who would like to help me for a week any time of the year, here are some more details:

Hi!

We have a lovely home with a beautiful outlook over bush, which is a 15 - 20 minute walk from Palm Beach on Waiheke Island. We have a kayak available for use and possibly a bicycle too. We are very close to a bus stop and are centrally located on the island. Waiheke is a 35 min ferry ride from downtown Auckland.

We are establishing organic gardens of fruit trees and vegetables and are also part of a local bush and stream restoration project. The food we eat is mostly organic.

I have a variety of work available in exchange for your own room and food and wifi. I provide all food and usually you would be helping yourself to breakfast and lunch and we would have an evening meal together. Your exchange would be four - five hours work per day, with one day off if you are staying for a week. You would also help with some daily chores such as meal preparation, cooking, clean up etc - I would imagine that usually that would be approx 15 mins a day. Of course I would occas... more inside

We are a small family based on Waiheke close to Oneroa with plenty of beaches near by. We have a fun opportunity for the right person to live either on our property in a private cabin or to stay close by on a small yacht.

Accommodation and a food voucher - for self-service food will be provided for the right person in exchange for 4 hours work per day at our property - work will include outdoor work, wedding digging and cleaning paths and ideally someone who can paint our house or is practically handy and can build fences.

Please contact us if you are enthusiastic to work hard to help us turn our property to its full potential.

If you're a great helper, we would kindly allow you can use a spare car on weekends.

Time frame - 1 - 2 weeks

Many Thanks
Bex & Nick

NEXT AVAILABLE November 1st 2017 thanks.

Lovely cute self contained sleep out on a holiday property with your own shower and kitchenette
the outdoor toilet is a proper new toilet only a few steps away.

Situated in Rocky Bay, on the beautiful island of Waiheke.
In exchange for accommodation we need help with gardening, collecting firewood for winter and some labouring building experience would be most helpful as we are still renovating the property.

Our property has lovely bush walks and easy access to two sheltered bays.
2 hrs a day in exchange for accommodation for a couple and 2.5 hrs for a single sorry we don't provide meals.
And would prefer a minimum stay of a week.

Need to be tidy and clean and house and garden proud! No smokers. Must be independent.

Transport by bus is very close or hitching is easy on the island with a great local community.

Many thanks.
