Hi there,
At home I live with my two busy boys aged 5 and 8 years.
I own and opperate a coffee and icecream cart and a food cart on the Picton foreshore.

I ask for help with tasks such as fruit picking, preparation for businesses, house hold chores, gardening, dog walking, child minding and some work in the ice cream cart during the summer months.

The helpx expectations are the usual 4 hrs help a day over 6 days per week in exchange for food and accomodation or 2 hours for accomodation only. I am flexible with the length of stay but prefer 1 week minimum.

The accomodation on offer is a caravan alongside the house which is very comfortable. It is quite spacious and has a double bed and one small size single. The bathroom and kitchen facilities are in the main house.

Located in central Blenheim a short 10 min walk to town. 5min walk to the information centre, bus and train station

The Opawa river is located at the front of our section and the Taylor river and track... more inside

Hi, I'm Rod. I run a small lodge in Endeavour Inlet Queen Charlotte Sound, Marlborough. It's right on the Queen Charlotte Track. The lodge has been here for about ten years and have had help mainly from Woofers during this time. (It's been 1 year since I've been on Helpx as well)

Helpers just need to make their way to Picton and I will pickup from there or pay for a water taxi out to the lodge which is water access only.

A sense of humor and relaxed attitude will be helpful. I prefer one helper at a time, over 25 years old please. Helpers will have free WIFI, food and your own double ensuite room.

During the off-season I need help to get the lodge ready for summer. Tradesmem for maintenance on the property and on our boat.. Carpentry and gardening skills will be highly appreciated.

Over the season (October-April) I need people to help with the cooking, checking guests in and out and general house keeping.

Hey and It won't be all work either, I go fishing and hunt... more inside
