We are a family of Dad & Mum and two teenagers on a small lifestyle block with an idyllic river setting near Blenheim. We need help with gardening and other outside chores and repairs, light building experience helpful, and helping to look after the animals; including a pony, sheep, lambs, poultry, cats, dog and more. You would have a warm bedroom with twin beds in the house and share the family bathroom. We have bikes available if you want to explore the wineries and other scenery.
Close to Blenheim township.

No smokers or drugs.
Maximum stay one week. Thank you.

Our mainland island used to be a large sheep station but we have now let it go back to nature. A major activity apart from our conservation work is catering for visitors who come to get closer to nature in a wild and beautiful place. Work can be looking after those guests, helping with correspondence schooling, home duties or maintaining our track system and other infrastructure, depending on the season.

*** Looking fora helper here for misc help from mid Sept Thanks ***

Hi there! We have a small modern lodge 70 metres from the beach in Anakiwa and 30 mins by road from Picton. There are kayaks here, excellent bush walks and a beautiful relaxed seaside environment.

Our lodge regularly hosts young volunteers (wwoofers/helpers) from our international visitors. You are treated like a member of our family, you live within our private household, share your background and experience our daily life in New Zealand.

As with family members, there are no formal contracts or payment, your input is fully voluntary and you are free to depart at any time. Volunteers normally help out for 3-4 hrs per day with the afternoons/evenings free to relax.

Tasks are typically gardening, cleaning, laundry, helping with meals (vegetarians welcome, but sorry we are not vegetarian!) and generally assisting around the lodge with misc tasks that suit your talents.

You will get involved in our da... more inside

Hello to those wanting to enjoy some time out and discover beautiful Picton and the sounds...We are looking for people to start from around the 1st November and if you are interested and are happy to take at least 3 weeks out of your travel, then we can offer you one day off a week, accommodation, breakfast, hot cheese scones each morning, hot drinks, spa, unlimited wifi, bikes to use, and laundry facilities. These expenses will be deducted from a weekly wage, from which will reflect the previous woofer program that was running ie working for accommodation etc. In return we would require 3 hours a day helping on reception or making beds, gardening, cleaning or outside work when weather permitting. Although it is not essential for you to have your drivers license, it would be nice to know if you can drive as we also will need drivers at times. You must have a work permit and IRD number. We require one or two people. Look forward to hearing from you.

Greg is looking for people to help.
He could use someone in the next few weeks.

There is lamb work to do, weed spraying and the other usual tasks.

Greg is the son of Helen & Ron.

Greg has shifted into the main house and could use some help in gardens in house for the right person. Otherwise people stay in Blenheim with Helen & Ron and be taken out to work.

We are a sheep and beef farm with a vineyard. Our farm is situated in a lovely Awatere valley with beautiful views and you will be welcomed into the family.

Prefer a week at least, will accept shorter times, absolutely non smoking and drug free.
We are about 30km south of Blenheim and 6km from the township of Seddon, and 4km from state highway one, south island. So it is easy to pick you up in Seddon or if it suits Blenheim.

Check the website for photos and an idea of our farm and family.

Accommodation is in either of houses as no stand alone accommodation as yet.

We are a family owned business that takes... more inside
