Thank you for considering a Homewood experience! We enjoy our Helpers, and they tell us that they enjoy Homewood. Here, you can enjoy independent accommodation in a self-contained bunkhouse (similar to an apartment), with all the conveniences, allowing privacy and comfort.

We're in a remote location accessible only by boat. We are happy to assist with transportation from Havelock, Marlborough. There's seafood for you to gather or catch, and hills, forest, trails, and beach to explore. You can use the dinghy and kayaks to explore or fish.

We're entirely off-grid: solar power, etc.

Help wanted: In exchange for accommodation, meat, and some groceries, 22 hours/week yard work, building maintenance, housekeeping. Must be able to lift 20 kg. No smoking. No drugs, no way, no how. We hope you like to laugh a lot!

We are a family of Dad & Mum and two teenagers on a small lifestyle block with an idyllic river setting near Blenheim. We need help with gardening and other outside chores and repairs, light building experience helpful, and helping to look after the animals; including a pony, sheep, lambs, poultry, cats, dog and more. You would have a warm bedroom with twin beds in the house and share the family bathroom. We have bikes available if you want to explore the wineries and other scenery.
Close to Blenheim township.

No smokers or drugs.
Maximum stay one week. Thank you.

Due to a French couple we hosted from 6-11 October 2017, Cedric and Tiphaine, whom were extremely abusive, manipulative, and also stole a number of items from our home including items that had belonged to my late Mother, we will no longer be hosting French couples. Cedric and Tiphaine are travelling in a metallic light blue coloured van with curtains on the back windows. They are currently travelling in the South ... more inside

**** We could do with 1 or 2 helpers next week, plenty of gardening to do with the grass growing fast and starting to refurbish a second cabin for our helpers.

As well as the feijoa orchard we have a large home orchard and vege gardens, chickens for eggs, some cattle and sometimes pigs.

Visitors must be good with dogs as our dog Posh is a large inside friendly dog and she is a big part of our family.

We have Wi-fi available, a river to swim in, spa pool and plenty of open space for you to enjoy in your free time and of course we are quite close to all the Marlborough wineries if you fancy tasting some wine.

Non Smokers only!

We are situated less than 10 mins drive from Renwick so we can pick you up from there or Blenheim (20 mins away) if you don't have transport.

We often have visitors staying so accommodation will be in our comfy cabin. We will provide 3 meals a day and snacks, good accommodation and a friendly atmosphere in return for 4-5 hours work a day. ... more inside

Whilst once a deer and alpaca farm this property is now a sheep farm most of which is leased. I tend a large garden and care for the drive and tracks, drainage and irrigation and deal with fallen trees. It is situated in the midst of vineyards in the Brancott Valley 13km from Blenheim (pop 25,000) which contests the annual sunshine record every year.

Many of the surrounding vineyards have tasting facilities open 7 days a week. Visitors enjoy cycle tasting tours and it is possible to join organised bus tours too or drive yourself of course.

In order to truly enjoy our wonderful province you will need your own transport but I can pick up from Blenheim if necessary.

Work includes general farm, house and garden maintenance most of which is outdoors. I ask for approx 4 hours work per day in exchange for full board in a very comfortable sunny, warm house where we will all eat together.

Non smokers only please.

Come and see, and be assured of a warm welcome.

Our mainland island used to be a large sheep station but we have now let it go back to nature. A major activity apart from our conservation work is catering for visitors who come to get closer to nature in a wild and beautiful place. Work can be looking after those guests, helping with correspondence schooling, home duties or maintaining our track system and other infrastructure, depending on the season.

*** 1 helper needed from 1st Dec here to help out for 2 weeks. Thanks ***

Hi there! We have a small modern lodge 70 metres from the beach in Anakiwa and 30 mins by road from Picton. There are kayaks here, excellent bush walks and a beautiful relaxed seaside environment.

Our lodge regularly hosts young volunteers (wwoofers/helpers) from our international visitors. You are treated like a member of our family, you live within our private household, share your background and experience our daily life in New Zealand.

As with family members, there are no formal contracts or payment, your input is fully voluntary and you are free to depart at any time. Volunteers normally help out for 3-4 hrs per day with the afternoons/evenings free to relax.

Tasks are typically gardening, cleaning, laundry, helping with meals (vegetarians welcome, but sorry we are not vegetarian!) and generally assisting around the lodge with misc tasks that suit your talents.

You will get involved in o... more inside
