We have an opening for a easy going person, 25 years or over. We need help with projects that, at times are unsupervised.
About Us: We are a laid back couple with a passion for our area of NZ and for living life. The West Coast is a nature lover and photography dream. We live in a small village called Hannahs Clearing half way between the iconic Jackson Bay and the township of Haast.

We live right beside the Tasman sea, which is just a few minutes walk from the house. We have the Hector Dolphins living in our area and massive bird and wild life.

Our business is a Jet Boat Safari and we take Tourists from all over the world on a stunning back country river in the UNESCO World Heritage Park. We are a family owned business and along with our 2 year daughter we enjoy the genuine lifestyle that the West Coast offers us.

Hi
We are an older married couple, we have 2 small dogs 1 cat some chocks, sheep and 2 cows, we live 10 km from Hokitika own transport prefered. It is important if you are thinking of joining us to ring for directions as we are a little hard to find.

Our block of land is in need of a tidy up, eg.some help with fencing, collecting firewood, gardening helping to build a new chock run and house, also some indoor work when the weather is bad.

We are looking for happy positive people to help get our land tamed. The hours of work and meals will be negotiable.You will have a separate bedroom in our home which has a king sized bed, this can be change to 2 singles. There is a river on the boundary which is good for kayaking

The West Coast has fantastic lakes, bike trails, bush walks, beaches and rivers. Hokitika is a small tourist town where there is a glow worm dell, kiwi house, and jade factory and shop, also a glass shop, where they show how it is made.

We have a property in Charleston on the West Coast. Close to beach, café, rain forest, bar, gold mine, train tours, rock climbing, 25 min drive to Punakaiki pancake rocks, seal colony and much more. A beautiful place to explore.

We would like people to come help us with cleaning, gardening, stacking firewood, and assorted general chores.

The arrangement is 3.5  hours unpaid work per day in exchange for:

·     Private Accommodation 

      Breakfast food supplies

      Tea and coffee supplies

·     500MB free WIFI per week

·     Kitchen

·      Showers

·      Laundry room

Hi there, we are looking for 1 or 2 Helpers for Gardening and some outdoor work.Collecting firewood with a 4weel from the Beach.
We would expect you to help about 4 hours per day in return for accommodation and all meals. We are located in Neils Beach (Jackson Bay) Yummy Food like Venison or Crayfish/Whitebaite possible....You stay in your own private room/Bath.

Just me my dog and a house in the heart of small country town. Alot of friendly tourists pass through here in search of adventure land.

I Would be happy to welcome anyone passing through thats in need of accommodation or a place to park a camper-van, can have access to guest bedroom and the usual facilities, refresh, recharge, relax, eat, drink, smoke, be merry, each to his or her own desire. :)

I have many DIY jobs to do for anyone wanting to stay a little longer and help out.
(Establishing permaculture style backyard and garden, some renovations depending where im at, and a variety of creative ideas and uses of natural resources that are on my to do list! from out door pizza ovens to driftwood picnic tables)

But we are all in such a hurry these days so I am more for boosting the experience. :) (Thats what id want)

We (Frank 61 and Elisa 67)are retired hippies and live in the bush, off the grid, near Lake Brunner. We have a small vegetable garden, growing organic vegetables for own use. We have chooks, a goose, a dog and a cat. We enjoy choir singing, theatre, board games and Thai massage.
We need help with pioneer work, digging, weeding, building, cleaning and getting firewood. No longer than 1 week at a time.
You can borrow mountain bikes or kayaks for the lake or rivers and there are walking tracks nearby.
Our helper accommodation is a small basic hut with living room, bed room loft(1 double bed, 2 singles)hot shower, composting toilet (not smelly) and small tea kitchen.
We cook vegetarian food. Please advise of special needs.
We can pick you up from the nearest bus stop (Kumara, Kumara Junction or Jacksons). Please let us know.

I offer accommodation (Tom's Hut)(Google)or Trappers Rest a Bedford Bus, room for a couple, that are younger and fit enough to help a old man clear gorse from the Historic Sites on his property and the feeding out in the evening of his stock.If you like nature you have found it. Time out to write a book, paint or into music, all without interruption.Cycle The West Coast Wilderness Trail or drive to town when ever you want.
