We are looking for positive, happy, enthusiastic and outgoing people to join our life style.

We ask for 4 hours a day assistance, in exchange for free accommodation and all the other things that we provide.

Please note we do not provide food. We ask you to buy and provide your own food, and cook for yourself in the cabin. There is a local supermarket in the township (about 1.5 kms away).

We have built a cosy cabin on our property, near a small stream, which you will be staying in (see photos). The cabin has running water, a woodfire, gas stove to cook on, and a flush toilet. We haven't yet built a shower at the cabin, so showering is up at our house.

As a couple, we are both into health and fitness. Sanna is a personal trainer. We have our own well equipped gym / fitness studio that you are more than welcome to use.

We are looking for people to assist with outdoor tasks: gardening, planting, landscaping, tree cutting, splitting firewood, some small building jobs, an... more inside

Nestled in the beautiful Southern Alps is the historic settlement of Cass (approx half way between Christchurch and Greymouth). I am offering private accommodation (separate from the house with own bathroom)in exchange for odd jobs - painting, gardening and lawn mowing.
I also have a horse drawn wagon seen in the photo's which is needing a keen horseperson to drive and keep working.
There is plenty to do in the area including fishing on many of the nearby high country lakes (1.6 km to Lake Sarah) day walks/ tramping in Arthurs Pass National Park and Craigieburn forest Park, skiing on one of the 5 local ski fields, four wheel driving, Scree jumping (down Sugar Loaf). A short drive to Cave stream scenic reserve (one of the south Islands best free activities) and Castle Hill natural rock climbing park (where scenes from Lord of the Rings and Narnia were filmed). Other nearby facilities are The Bealy Hotel (10mins) and Arthurs Pass 20mins. In exchange I would like four hours work... more inside

We are a Christian Home Schooling family. Our home is in Waipara - a large wine growing region. Waipara is 45 mins from Christchurch, 45 mins from Hanmer Springs and 1.5 hrs from Kaikoura. We are on the main highway, so easy access via car, hitch hiking, or bus.
Having your own car would be a plus.
We have a large organic vegetable garden, herb garden, chickens and assorted pets.

We have a large family - 6 children living at home ranging in age from 6-20. We can accommodate one or two singles or a couple, sleeping in a 'sleep out' on a double bunk bed. (Double on bottom, single on the top) Toilet facilities are inside the main house, not too far from the 'Sleep Out'

Work would include gardening - lawn mowing, weeding and general out door work. General house work and cooking - if you love to cook.

We love meeting new people and our children are involved with a lot of community activities

We are now looking for helpers during April!!!
We are lucky enough to live on a 10 acre life style block situated in North Canterbury . We have horses which are used primarily for dressage, show jumping and eventing. We have a lovely property with a large easy care garden!
It is always great to have some help in the garden, general weeding and spraying, but what I mainly need is help exercising and caring for our horses. So we would love to hear from helpers that are really experienced horse people! Especially those that have riding experience in dressage, show jumping and or eventing!!
Our horses are competition horses and young horses, so this means that they are not "school horses" so we CAN NOT have helpers that are beginner riders or inexperienced riders!!
We are looking for help from the end of March onwards !!
We have 4 children, 2 are school age and 2 are finished with school and are studying away from home!
We are non smokers!! And would prefer helpers that are ... more inside

Needing help now. Prefer male or couple please.

We are a couple with a 7 years old and 4 year old. We have a large life style property 35mins from Christchurch and 2 mins from the township of Amberley. At this stage we are subdividing the property so we don't have any livestock to deal with.

We're looking for someone for no more than a week or so. We have a large house and the work is primarily housework and property maintenance; Preparing Pool and pool area and tidying up the garden.

I love to cook and learn new recipes so if you have a fav recipe you'd like to share please do.

We have a private upstairs studio with Wifi (no TV) that has a Queen and Single bed available so either a couple or 2 friends are fine.

My children are very energetic and LOVE having people stay so being child-friendly is extremely important.

I am a singer (work weekends) and Brendon is a Civil Engineer (Roading).

As we are 30mins from Christchurch its preferable that you have a car as... more inside

We run an "Alternative Lifestyle" Bed & Breakfast and adult event venue, in rural North Canterbury. We have large gardens (fruit, berries, vegetables and leisure) and extensive tree hedges that take more time than we ourselves have for upkeep, so we're looking particularly for help with the outdoors. We use our gardens to feed guests the freshest possible food.

Our place is unusual, not for the prudish, but we do have a lot of fun!

We'd recommend you take a look at our website before you contact us, so you get a better idea of what we are about.

We'd recommend anyone who comes to help out has their own transport, as the nearest public transport is 13kms away, in Rangiora, or a weekday only twice daily commuter shuttle to Christchurch that runs early morning and late afternoons.
