FREE accommodation for 3 hours work....
URGENT.......
We looking for a couple or 2 girls who want to give us a hand with weeding, picnic tomatoes, cleaning out tunnelhouse, and jobs around the property.
You have to work 3 hours for each night stay, and do you own cooking and buy your own food, so free accommodation for the 3 hours work.
Minimum stay 1 week.

Accomodation is a sleepout
The sleepout is a "stand alone" and comfortable, and self contained. It is one room with a queen bed, a dining table, a benchtop with a sink, and pots and pans and cutlery, a double element cooking plate, a toaster, a fridge and a electric jug.

We are a semi retired Dutch couple. We use natural pest control and don't use sprays in the tunnelhouses. Outside we grown organic veges for The farmers market. We have chickens, goats and bees. Accommodation is a cozy sleepout with a queen bed.

We are so lucky to live on a 10 acre life style block situated in North Canterbury . We keep horses which are used primarily for dressage, pony club and eventing. We have a lovely property with a large easy care garden!
It would be great to have some help in the garden, general weeding and spraying, but mainly we need help exercising and caring for the horses. So we would love to hear from helpers that are experienced horse people! Especially those that have riding experience in dressage, show jumping and or eventing!! We would love it if you are able to ride without supervision! Our horses are competition horses!!,so please no beginner riders or inexperienced riders!!
We are looking for help from Now onwards!!
We have 4 children, all are school age.
We are non smokers!!
during the winter we love to ski!!
We have lovely warm and clean Acomadation for two people that is separate from the main house. This has a T.V with sky(satellite) TV, wifi in the main house.
We are a bus... more inside

We are looking for international travellers who would like to experience a special part of the South Island. This is a sheep and beef property in the Canterbury Highcountry, 50km inland near the township of Methven. Beside farming we are operating a small conference and accommodation venue and in the winter this place is the base for a heliski operation. We enjoy having travellers and welcome always a helping hand. A modern self contained unit with all facilities and all meals of the day will be provided as an exchange. It would suit an outdoor person who enjoys walking, mountain biking. Pick up from Methven (1 hour drive) or Christchurch (2 hours) is possible.Beside English our household is able to communicate in German and "Schoolfrench". Have a look on our website.

Can't believe it is 2015 already. We had a couple (spain/slovenia) staying with us for six months and during this time we embarked upon a work programme using their special talents.

This programme is not quite complete and keeps on being expanded. So....always plenty to do here particularly in the garden. If you consider you have some special talent to offer please contact us. Helpxers with carpentry skills or handyman/woman skills are particularly welcome.

Our help preference is couples and we can take two plus singles (2 separately probably) One to two weeks help would be ideal. Singles still apply though please.

We are a friendly couple in our mature years...., very energetic and still both working full time in the city - around 56ks from our farm, south of Christchurch. We do a daily commute to Christchurch city during the week, except when we are on leave. In our spare time.........we grow hazelnuts and olives, have 3 energetic burmese cats with personal... more inside

Nestled in the beautiful Southern Alps is the historic settlement of Cass (approx half way between Christchurch and Greymouth). I am offering private accommodation (separate from the house with own bathroom)in exchange for odd jobs - painting, gardening and lawn mowing.
I also have a horse drawn wagon seen in the photo's which is needing a keen horseperson to drive and keep working.
There is plenty to do in the area including fishing on many of the nearby high country lakes (1.6 km to Lake Sarah) day walks/ tramping in Arthurs Pass National Park and Craigieburn forest Park, skiing on one of the 5 local ski fields, four wheel driving, Scree jumping (down Sugar Loaf). A short drive to Cave stream scenic reserve (one of the south Islands best free activities) and Castle Hill natural rock climbing park (where scenes from Lord of the Rings and Narnia were filmed). Other nearby facilities are The Bealy Hotel (10mins) and Arthurs Pass 20mins. In exchange I would like four hours work... more inside

I live on my own, however my three daughters and their husbands and eight grandchildren, are often here. My daughter Carla Martin and her family live next door. My two year old black labrador is named ANZAC. I need HelpX to walk and play with Anzac. I have a new house that has been rebuilt after our earthquakes. The section needs clearing of weeds and overgrown gardens. Grass will be sown and fences will be built, but there is plenty of preparation work to be done. I would love some enthusiastic helpers who are strong and preferably experienced at gardening. Any builders would be very welcome, for some small carpentry jobs, and I may 'loan you to my son-in-law who is building a house at Lyttleton'. I either ask for two hours of help a day and you take care of your meals, or four hours a day and I cook for you.
The HelpX people I have had to date have been fabulous.

In our spare time we love to be in the outdoors- mountain biking, running, skiing, gardening, tramping etc. We've been hosts for many years now and throughly enjoy what each helpxer brings.
