Labourer Wanted!!!!
We are an easy going couple in our early 30s looking to embark on building ourselves a new house this summer. In exchange for accommodation and food (plus other possible perks), we need someone to help us start building in December this year. If you have an interest in the building trade and would like to gain some experience (and something to put on your CV) working with a qualified builder for 3 months, we would like to hear from you. We live in beautiful Wanaka in central Otago just 45mins North of Queenstown. If you love hiking, fishing, hunting, rock climbing, mountain biking, fantastic scenery or even just relaxing by our stunning lake, this is the place for you. Please flick us an email if you think you can help us and we will get in touch with more details and photos as well as answer any questions you may have :) By the way a great sense of humour is a must!!!

We have a new home in a very beautiful rural area about 8km from Cromwell in Central Otago (and 30-40 minutes drive from both Queenstown and Wanaka). The pix below give a sense of the special landscape in these parts.
We offer meals and comfortable private accommodation in our adjacent guest complex for people keen to help with a range of projects, both indoor (mainly housework at this stage) and outdoor (gardening and general labouring).
We ask people to work 4 hours each day but are happy for you to work 8 hours on alternate days.
This is a great spot if you fancy a rural retreat and happen to have your own transport, because then you can get out and about and explore the environs in your time off. But we can also collect you off the bus in Cromwell. There are lots of jogging and walking possibilities round here too, or you can just sit and enjoy the scenery!
We love having HelpXers here so do get in touch. We welcome your enquiry and will reply promptly :-)

Hi, I live in a cute little cottage across the road from the Blueskin Bay library where I am also the librarian and the local JP. I have a garden but have difficulty keeping it weeded, pruned and tidy. I have the Internet and can help out with transport. I have seven cats living with me so you will need to like cats if you come to stay with me. I also have a hen and a tiny little rooster who strut around outside. I like cooking so expect some nice meals to match your tastes.
