Hi,

We are looking for someone to come stay and help us around the camp for a few days from MID OCTOBER (AFTER 12TH).
To help stacking firewood, dig a few holes, would prefer males as its heavy work.
A female partner ok as I need some windows cleaned etc.

You will have your own cabin with double bed and linen. We will provide 3 meals per day in exchange for four hours work per day.
Our cookhouse is well equipped with sky TV, cell phone coverage and wifi so you can have your own private space when you want.

We are very remote so own vehicle is required if you want to go exploring in your time off.

We are located in a quiet village with plenty of Hunting and Fishing in one of New Zealand's most beautiful locations.
We are surrounded by beautiful mountains currently covered in snow right on the edge of Fiordland National Park.

We are looking for people to help with renovating a small house in Manapouri. We also have 2 acres of native bushland that requires maintenance. There's firewood to be cut as well!

Currently, we would welcome carpenters and builders.

The accommodation is nearby, very comfortable and peaceful.

Lake Manapouri, known as the most beautiful lake in NZ, is a 5 minute walk away. Te Anau is a 15 minute drive and Milford Sound is only 2 hours. Manapouri is also the gateway to the beautiful Doubtful Sound.

For food and accommodation, you would work for 4 hours a day - the hours can be flexible so you can get away and enjoy the environment of Fiordland!

We welcome couples and singles and can take up to 4 people at a time (2 bedrooms).

Also I'm looking for a single girl to help in Queenstown for a few days from September 21.

We live on a high country farm in Garston, Northern Southland (one hour south of Queenstown). The farm is currently leased to a sheep and beef farmer.

We are a busy family with two young children. Tom is a retired farmer and now a mountain bike trail owner and the main driver/entrepreneur behind our new, developing mountain bike business. Katie is a full time Mum, farm & mountain bike administrator, amateur gardener and loves creative projects.

We require help around the farm and on the trail with tasks such as digging trail and accommodation sites, cutting wood, fencing, weed control, painting and general gardening duties.

Our location is quite remote with the nearest convenience store 10kms away. There is a pub in Garston. The nearest townships to Garston are Athol and Kingston both of which have cafés. This property is 10 acres with a large character homestead (circa 1929), which was once part of the historic Lynwood Station. The home has many period features, including wood panel wardrobes, bay windows and a number of fire places and two wood burners. Outside there is one large paddock deer fenced, with a well established garden with recently planted natives, orchard, mature specimen trees, a tunnel house, chook house, pig sty and "potentially" a large vegetable garden.

The property is just 9 Km from Te Anau itself(the largest lake in the South Island and second largest in New Zealand) which is the gateway to Fiordland and the majestic Lake Manapouri. The Keplar Track is nearby with other tramps a little further away like the start of the Routeburn and Caples Greenstone tracks at the Divide. The Mavora Lakes are also not that far away, a popular camping spot in the summer. Of course we are on the main High way to Milford.

We have recently purchased the property. We are ... more inside

This is a stud beef cattle property situated near picturesque Winton in Central Southland. The area is renowned for its farming and Torrisdale (the farm) is surrounded by dairy and mixed farming properties. The property is within short travel distances of some of the most talked about 'tourist' locations including Queenstown which is only a 100 minute drive away.
Like on all farms there are things to do. Preparing for/and maintenance of shelter tree plantings, small building and maintenance projects and some gardening are just some of the outdoors jobs that helpers could be involved with plus for those who have some experience, mingling with the cattle is occasionally on the list.
Food and accommodation (own room, shared bathroom) provided. Capped Internet access available. Helpers who are proficient in cooking (for themselves mostly) and putting their hand to the occasional bit of housework would fit well in the routine that is usually in vogue here. If you don't have transpor... more inside

We are now taking bookings for vacancies from 1st October onwards. Preference will be given to helpers with a genuine interest in learning about NZ dairy farming and animal husbandry. We love sharing what we do and prefer to host helpers with a desire to learn.

300 cow family run dairy farm close to the Southern Scenic Route, between Invercargill and the Caitlins.
We offer a family environment with opportunities for farm work, housework, gardening and cooking. There is a wide variety of work available. Working with the animals of course, weed control, plus fencing work, painting, carpentry and lots of different small tasks to complete. If outdoor work doesn't appeal, help in the house with cooking and cleaning is always appreciated, and the small, developing garden offers a third alternative. We try to fit the work to each helper's skills and interests, and keep things varied and interesting.

We have 3 children who are mostly grown and away doing their own thing, but come ho... more inside
