**Current project** We are looking for a couple or two friends to help with replacing the deck, a retaining wall and drainage. It will involve a lot of digging, shifting stones and mud, moving wood into place, hammering nails etc. If you're interested, please read on...

About us: We are a British couple with a baby girl and we’ve been in New Zealand for 6 years. Our daughter, Beatrix, is 1 year old and enjoys crawling around, going to music sessions with her buddies and charming new people. Our interests are: travelling, biking, hiking, skiing, board games, surfing (Paddy), sewing / dressmaking (Cam), yoga (Cam). Our house is in Cashmere, Christchurch. We have a beautiful, friendly cat called Bertie. The house has 4 bedrooms and a lovely garden with two decks, perfect for summer BBQs. We’re about 20mins from the city centre, 10mins from the beach and only 5mins from excellent walking and mountain bike tracks in the Port Hills. There is public transport nearby (bus).

Hi, We are converting a garage into a living area and making over a garden. At present we are in need of people with some building/carpentry/landscaping skills or experience . The current jobs are to put together a timber slat ceiling, fill gaps on the timber slat floor, shift garden soil with wheelbarrow, compact stones on driveway, lay paving tiles. We welcome anyone who would like to come and enjoy our relaxing sea environment, in exchange for being part of a happy working team. Across the road is the sea, free to use bikes, kayaks, dinghy, wetsuits, flippers etc. Swim across the inlet to great surf beach and cafe's. 1 min walk to bus which will take you to city and directly to airport. Simple healthy home grown meals. Only suitable for the respectful and honest.

I am looking for a girl/woman to help me with housework for 2.5 hours a day in exchange of accommodation. I'm happy to give the weekend off as long as the hours are done in advance during the week. It's a small, easy to look after house, and it's me (Spanish female) and my two boys who are 11 and 14. The chores would be general cleaning, doing the dishwasher, putting the washing in and out, ironing, shopping...whatever is needed that day. Cooking would be much appreciated and definitely an advantage. Meals are not included, but whenever the helper cooks, she is invited to join in the meal.

It's a warm modern house and the room has a queen size bed. The house is 5 minutes walk to Barrington Mall (with warehouse, supermarket, banks, library, and many shops) and 2 minutes walk to bus stops, very close to town.

Short stays, four days minimum, 3 weeks maximum. Unlimited wifi.

I Need someone from the 11th of September.

You can stay in our lovely downstairs double bedroom which has it's own en-suite bathroom and a fantastic garden and river view.

We would love some help with housework, gardening, making dinner and maybe a bit of babysitting of our two girls Ashley and Emily.

Sorry but we only accept female helpers with good references.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Rona and Chris

We are looking for help from a female helper or 2 females or a couple to stay with us at our home in Christchurch this week, for a 2 weeks to help do some cleaning, general housework, gardening etc. I can assure you that you will have fun and eat well - you must have a good sense of humor and be a happy person/s. But then you would travel with my husband to our holiday home in Fiordland for a week or so - then you can come back to Christchurch with him. It is beautiful in Fiordland.
Hosts are good cooks, husband speaks German and English. You must like dogs, we have 2 large dogs.
Thanks. Please feel free to ask any questions.
