We offer short and long term stays in a 3 bedroom home which is only a short walk to the main home, the home is fully furnished with WiFi and meals included. For the right people we have a vehicle available for transport to explore the area.

We are willing to train people so that as they travel around they have the experience for further farm opportunities.

We are a family that enjoys the company of overseas travelers and we love hearing their stories and getting to know and understand different cultures.

Currently looking for people who can help in some of these tasks from today onwards:
a) Garden /orchard/ farm work:
composting, mulching, weeding, mowing, pruning, planting, fixing garden beds, irrigation systems, netting of fruit trees, weed control, tidying up the property, irrigation systems, firewood, cooking.
b) Building/renovation work.
Stripping and painting furniture.
Currently undergoing house renovation work on around-the-house verandas.

Our house is on top of a ridgeline in rolling granite hill country with great views. Our western red cedar home has a wide veranda all the way round; we eat many of our meals outside here absorbing the scenery or occassionally just relax with a book in the hammocks.
There are plenty of kangaroos and much birdlife.
We live in the country side (no shops) on a quiet road; very peaceful. The nearest major towns are Bendigo (25km) or Castlemaine (20km).
We have a spare room (double bed) with desk. We also have another spare room wi... more inside

Do you want to visit Wilson's Promontory National Park? - this farm is perfect place to stay! We need someone one to come to our olive farm in South Gippsland for a minimum of one week starting now or when you can come. The work will be mainly helping us prune olive trees so there will be plenty of fresh air to breath. There may also be mowing grass, wood cutting, gardening and other farm jobs. If the day is hot we stop work early and go to the beach. We serve you lunch and dinner with us (we also provide food for breakfast and snacks) and there is very nice accommodation in a comfortable two bedroom cottage. There is a small cash reward for good work. We are close to the beach and Wilson's Promontory National Park and can lend you a car on days when you are not working (or take you there if you don't drive). We are 2.5 hours by bus from Melbourne. We welcome visitors from anywhere and are happy to help you to learn English if necessary!

I have a small Vegan B&B on 20 acres in the beautiful Yarra Valley which I love but I need assistance in maintaining the appearance of the outside area mostly. Some one experienced in a few of the following is ideal...basic fencing repairs/carpentry, chain sawing, weeding, establishing and planting out veggie gardens, mowing on a ride on, spraying weeds, general outdoor clean ups and maintenance....also some minor inside maintenance and repair as required...and window cleaning.
Maybe some assistance inside with room preparations or meals for guests from time to time if we are busy.
Work of 5 hours a day x 5 days a week in exchange for board incl meals (quality whole food vegan) and internet.
Location Is a bit out of the way so a car or if you're a fit person, a bike is suggested. :)
Closest town and train is 15 minutes drive away. I can drive you sometimes though and will consider lending the car for short trips.
Great community market every Saturday nearby, terrific trails... more inside

We are renovating our house in Melbourne!

We're looking for helpers to help us out at our new place. The work will be gardening, painting, cleaning, landscaping, building, repairing and just generally helping out with whatever needs to be done. Extra bonus if you have training/experience as a carpenter/tradie/your own home renovations.

About you: We like helpers who can appreciate a job well done, ask questions when they need help and have a good eye for detail. Whether you've got skills or you're just good at learning and fixing mistakes, we don't mind so long as you enjoy helping out and getting involved when the work needs to be done, and sitting down for a chat and a meal when we're finished.

We're asking for approx 25-30 hours per week in exchange for food and accommodation. You will have a private room with access to unlimited internet, washing machine etc.
