We have availability from the 26th of feb 2018 for 7days to 10days

Right now we are picking berries, vegetables and spending some time in the kitchen pickling cucumbers and fermenting.

We live in a beautiful old farmhouse built on 3 acres of rich red volcanic soil.
We are a family of 4 with 2 young children creating an intensive food production farm that uses organic farming practices aimed at supplying the best quality food for the local community.

Accom is for two in a guest room adjoining our house, with wifi, dvd, comfortable beds. Meals are cooked by family and we generally all eat together. We encourage helpxers to cook at least one meal(we love helpxers who can cook) If the weather is good we often have a BBQ. Mixed diet, vegetarians catered for.
You can easily get here via train from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne.
On days off we can drive you into Daylesford(our nearest big town) where you can spend a day exploring.

Hello Lovely Help X's,
We have a medium sized room, looking onto the park in a lovely Thornbury location. The room is available now until the 27th of Feb.
The house is a sharehouse in a great location in Thornbury right next to the Merri Creek Reserve and 5 mins walk from no.11 tram, IGA and right next door to all the cool neighbourhoods and happenings. Its the DREAM location.
Looking for a couple or 2 people to do mainly cleaning duties for 1 hr each day per person.
Happy to get the work done in concentrated chunks of time if that is preferable so you can enjoy the city.
Get in touch with a little about yourself if you would like to know more.
cheers
Zac

Our preference is for workers with driver's licence and/or car. Couples are ideal as our accommodation is self-contained and private.

This is a picturesque sheep farm situated half-way between Benalla and Wangaratta, in Victoria's North East. We are 10 minutes from Glenrowan township, 20 minutes from the vineyards of the King Valley and about 1 hour 20 minutes from the ski slopes. We are a family of six (four kids under twelve), seeking someone with farmhand, house cleaning, gardening, carpentry, building or painting skills. We love to have couples stay with us.

We have a very comfortable, 3-bedroom, fully-furnished
cottage for our worker/s. My husband and I have both lived and worked overseas and travelled extensively. We would make our working visitors welcome, show them the area and do our best to make their time with us fun and interesting.

We are a farmstay accommodation facility set in the tranquil countryside known as Strath Creek. We are nestled in the "Valley of 1000 Hills" with some of the best views Victoria has to offer. Our farmstay is a a relaxed environment with various activities that requires daily/weekly attention. From collecting eggs (seasonal), feeding the ducks and chickens and letting out and putting away each day to gardening and pruning and maybe some supervised horse feeding each day.
We do not have any children to look after! Ideally we would prefer people with traveling partners (Friends or couples, ) as we feel that they are better suited to our type of place and keep each other company.(We would also like that at least one can understand and speak some basic English). Please note, email us your HelpX details before calling.
But lets not forget our motto:
Eat when you are Hungry,
Sleep when you are tired and
Drink when you are thirsty!
We hope to hear from you soon !

Welcome to our little farm on the internet. We have been hosting international travelers for six years and it has been a rewarding experience for us and them.

We share our passion for ethical and sustainable farming to anyone that has an interest. Our ideal helper is one that loves animals and will use their time here to interact and be involved with their care. Having your own initiative is a real bonus to us.

Seeking friendly open minded person that is happy to help around the home and around the farm. We prefer helpers to stay a minimum of two weeks and those with horse handling experience are very welcome.

Located just north of Melbourne we are country but not far from essential services. Plenty to see and do when time is your own.

Guests stay in the main house, with your own room and shared bathroom. All meals are meat and fish based with vegetables taken from the garden if the previous helpers have done their job ;) There is never a shortage of fresh vegetable... more inside

Would you like to help out at a small organic market garden bordered by both a river and a creek in a beautiful valley surrounded by rolling hills and statuesque gum trees?

You can walk around the town and surrounding countryside and experience gorgeous views for photography, drawing and painting, or just contemplation. You can swim in our river (complete with mini-beach) as well as at the spectacular nearby attractions of Turpins Falls and The Cascades. There are tennis courts you could use in Metcalfe and we also have bikes you could use to explore the area.

We are 20 minutes away from Kyneton and Castlemaine, two great towns with historic buildings and artisan markets, and not much further from Daylesford and Bendigo.

We use some permaculture methods in the garden such as rotating pigs and chickens through the vegie beds and the mini-orchard. Everything is grown by hand and hoe. We grow a wide variety of vegies, berries and fruits which we supply to locals.

We are lo... more inside

I have two married grown-up children and two grand children who live in Melbourne. The property is set in the beautiful King Valley I have a herd of sheep and goats I Like to grow vegetables organically and do not use toxic sprays. Have been a pro bono consultant to a vineyard to treat powdery mildew organically. I am looking for helpers to do general work around the farm. I was a woofer host for many years with young people from around the world who had a great time here. I love to cook for people with international meals. My mobile phone does not always work as the reception here has many black spots but there is good internet access and there are no problems with the land line.
