if you would like to get off the backpacker trail and experience some Australian lifestyle then here is your opportunity.

As a host, we live in a semi rural town called Beerwah. Our place is a real hub of community. We enjoy music, socializing and making life an adventure.

The help required is in our a cafe, here we look for people to help with waiting upon cafe customers and assisting in the kitchen. If this is all new to you, we are more than happy to teach and help you learn the hospitality field.

We are 1 hour north of Brisbane, 5 mins from the Australia Zoo (famous because of Steve Irwin the crocodile handler) and 25 mins inland from the Sunshine Coast beaches.

The region we are situated is call Glasshouse Mountains. This area is truly picturesque with an expanse of forest & diminutive Mountains..

Hi, my name is Peter. I have lived in Agnes Water for around 19 years.
I have been hosting international visitors for about 7 years now and have hosted people from many countries such as France, Germany, Austria, Brazil, Spain, America, South Korea, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Italy, Denmark, Switzerland, Taiwan, Israel, England, Belgium, Czech Republic, Canada, Finland and Estonia. (several of my visitors have even returned for a second stay at my home). I like to spend time with my visitors and get to know them. I particularly like to help people to improve their English and show them around the local area.
I also like to take my visitors to the secluded beaches in this area for private swimming and sunbathing. (see below for more details)

I would like to say thank you to all the helpx members that have come and helped on the farm we enjoy your company all are welcome to stay in exchange for work.
Help required is in our Olive Grove which is nestled in the Gaeta Valley right on the National Park and on the National Trail, featuring plenty of bush walk trails there are lots to see wild life galore Parrots of all descriptions and beautiful birds and butterflies some as big as your hand in season, and fantastic views.
In February we will be picking olives and desperately need helpers in February and March
Help is for four hours daily in exchange for accommodation and food, and consists of a variety of gardening, general maintenance, cleaning or cooking help with pruning and fertilising and there are two horses to groom. We are a young energetic family, living on a 10 acre property in a leafy suburb of Brisbane, approx 25 minutes from the city centre. We have a large garden and a number of pets including two dogs, horses, a cat and chickens. Our children are aged 7 and 4 years old.

We are seeking help with our garden - weeding, mulching, watering, planting and trimming plants, as well as general maintenance and tidy up, household cleaning, windows cleaning, ironing and cooking. Some babysitting may also be required, so we are looking for someone who enjoys being around kids, and are kind and responsible.

This opportunity would suit either a single person or a couple travelling together. Hi! Thanks for checking out our listing. We are able to host Helpers from the middle of February. We are a family of four which includes two boys aged 8 and 11 years, and some chooks. We live on a beautiful one and a half acre property on Mount Tamborine, Gold Coast Hinterland.
Our property backs onto rainforest and there are several national parks with bush walks within a few minutes drive from us. We have a cafe, pub and corner store within walking distance of our home, and the main town is only a few minutes drive away. Mount Tamborine is also home to some exquisite animals, including wedge tailed eagles, koalas, kangaroos, cockatoos and possums.
We are looking for help xers who can do garden maintenance (including organic Vege gardening) and general cleaning.In exchange for four hours work a day we will provide food and board, internet access, and the opportunity to participate in family outings and adventures when appropriate. I am situated on a large block, in the small village of Kin Kin, west of Noosa in the hinterland on the Sunshine Coast. Great surrounding places to visit if you have your own vehicle, such as Noosa, Gympie ,Fraser Island or Rainbow Beach... If not, there are lots of lovely places to walk and explore. If you are looking for a real experience in the country, you will find it here,and you will find the community will embrace you and lead you to other destinations.Previous helpers have enjoyed wonderful experiences from this village. Kin Kin is the home of the great horse race,4o mins from Noosa,30 mins from Gympie and 15 minutes from Pomona our nearest rail and bus.

Tropical Island Paradise

We have a Two story house and a large wooden Pirate boat on our property. We are only a 300m walk from the surf beaches, and we are only a couple hours from Brisbane city.

Our house and boat are in need of restoration / renovation. So If you have building/construction skills, consider yourself most welcome.
However, we also have lots of little jobs that suits people with different skills: painting, sanding, planting, garden maintenance, etc.

Please understand, we really dont have any paid work to offer, but can offer a great beach holiday in exchange for a small amount of help.

We only ask for 2 hours of help, per person, per day, in return for accommodation in a private, self-contained unit.

The unit has a large king-sized bed, private bedroom lounge area, kitchen, fridge, shower, toilet, etc, and sleeps 3 people comfortably. Sorry, no TV or WiFi.

Fruit picking and packing lasts from about March to December, after this there is also pruning, general upkeep of the property including cattle, fencing, clearing.
