Do you want to help build a fruit orchard this Spring at our farm?! We have really great food & a nice large bedroom with TV & wood fire place. We speak French & English and have great references from many happy travellers...

And for stays over 2 weeks we'll chip in $50 petrol money to help you on to your next destination...

Come as one person or two (or 3). You can helpX part time as labourer/farm help and we can teach you a lot about Permaculture. If you are a builder or auto mechanic there are also projects you can try. You will be sharing with our German AuPair who is looking after our children.

I have a large and productive garden in a very pretty part of the Adelaide Hills near the beautiful small town of Stirling. There are often kangaroos and koalas around, and in the next field are goats, alpacas and cattle. I have a small friendly dog and 7 chickens. Its great walking and cycling country and its possible to walk to Mt Lofty Summit and Cleland Wildlife park. I also own a small pop up cafe in a village 5 minutes away in which everything is upcycled and we use all local produce. If you are staying for 2 weeks or more I can train you as a barista which will make you very employable

My partner and I love meeting new people and we will do our best to give our helpers a great Australian experience and fun time.
If no clients are in the apartment helpers will be able to stay in the b&b section and can be independent if they wish. If guests staying accommodation will be in the main house bedrooms. We are looking for people with horticulture /gardening skills who enjoy working outdoors, love working with animals and are happy to help with 1 accommodation room and setting up a glamping tent ready for accommodation.
We have a self contained section of the home we rent out on airbnb and we are in the process of planting, making the garden larger.
Some help with sheep and horses may be required and I am sure lots of laughs will be had over a glass of red at night and sometimes pizza in the outdoor oven.
May be 1 or 2 occasions where assistance in preparing accommodation for clients is necessary.
We would love some help and we are happy to negotiate suitable wo... more inside

We are on a farm in one of the Mallee areas of the Riverland, South Australia; in between Waikerie, Swan Reach and Blanchetown . It is a peaceful area, with beautiful sunsets and lots of wildlife to see; such as kangaroos, emus, many varieties of birds and if you are lucky; echidnas, wedge tail eagles and goannas. Waikerie is our closest town being approx. 27kms away (around 15-20 minutes by car).

We have 7,000 acres that is mainly used for cereal crops and sheep (share farmed). We also have Australian Stock Horses and a herd of cats (the cats live in the sheds).

We are wanting some help with looking after the horses, building/fixing fences, general cleaning up around the farm yard/farm house, collecting fire wood and general maintenance. You do not need any specific skills, just be willing to 'have a go'.

We are able to offer accommodation, meals and some sightseeing in exchange for work. Also, possibly horse riding lessons. We are negotiable on terms. We also have a car a... more inside
