we are full at the moment. We are a non smoking home. Love to help with English conversation and pronunciation. We have been Homestay parents to international students from ages 13-19, and then hosts to WWOOFers and HelpX for many years. Very safe and happy home. We prefer not to have 2 of the same language, together, as the English is not used and goes backwards.

We are a family of 5, with 3 girls. We have lots of work to do as the property has been neglected for 10+ years. Currently we have sheep and lambs, cattle, chickens, pigs and dogs, as well as setting up veg and fruit gardens. Being an animal lover is probably a must for farm life.

We have a clean caravan for a single guy or adventurous couple. We also have a lovely guesthouse with super comfy king sized bed, depending on availability.

We also have a large swimming pool and tennis court that you are welcome to use. You can find more info and pics on fb on Our Unplugged Life. The farm is large and you can go for early morning walks and spot kangaroos if you're lucky, and koalas in summer.

We've got a few projects happening, would love a carpenter! or anyone with masonry/fence skills. Initial stay is one week, but for the right person/s we can offer you a longer stay, if you're happy. We have a varied routine here and tend to work with the weather and animals (like any fa... more inside

***Helpful hint for all of us - Keep your profile updated with where you are currently and where you're going to next***

I am a single guy in my mid-thirties running a winery in McLaren Vale and a cropping farm at Waitpinga. In addition, I work closely with my parents' business just down the road - a vineyard and cellar door - so there's a variety of things to do - vineyard and winery work and lots of other things like shed building, painting, spraying weeds.

During previous vintages I have hosted four groups of Swedish sommelier students undertaking an industry placement as part of their studies. While here they learn about wine making and viticulture, gaining the skills to get a job in other wineries around the world - bouncing back and forth between hemispheres and travelling in between if desired.

McLaren Vale is about 40 minutes from the city of Adelaide by car; a little longer by bus and train.

I have opportunities for 1 to 2 non-smokers. The winery is on-site, a... more inside

This is a beautiful little farm surrounded by native forest and apple and cherry orchards. Yum! I live alone except for ducks and geese, oh and my pet python. I like reading, can make reasonable coffee and try to eat only food I harvest.

I have spent most of my life working in conservation biology. I have traveled to many countries and also done a bit of volunteering, including two years volunteering in Wadi Rum in Jordan in 2011-13 working on threatened species reintroduction.

I am now settling down a bit and putting my efforts into my own parch of earth. Two years ago I bought a cottage on a small and very neglected old organic farm. I am restoring an apple orchard and have planted a variety of other fruit trees and a vegetable garden. I have put in solar power, rainwater tanks and am making the house energy efficient. My aim is to be reasonably self-reliant.

I need help on the farm looking after the trees and garden and doing landscaping, building, planting, beekeeping... more inside
