My husband Russell and I run a family owned sheep and cattle farm, running around 500 Cattle and 2000 sheep. We are a young family with 2 kids (11 and 15 Y/O). We have pets, several working dogs and some native wildlife.

We are located in the heart of the South East of South Australia. It's a great half way stop between Adelaide and Melbourne. You will get Telstra mobile reception, We are 25 mins to town (Keith), 2 Mins to the local pub, 1 Hr to the coast (Robe) and quite close to wine country (Coonawarra). Weekends are generally spent relaxing or focused on sport and leisure. Your own transport may be an advantage but is not essential. We are happy to show you around the region and tourist attractions.

And for stays over 2 weeks we'll chip in $50 petrol money to help you on to your next destination...

A working vineyard (we just grow the grapes, there's no wine production) in one of the premier wine regions of Australia, close to beautiful beaches and within an hour from the city of Adelaide.
There is (infrequent) public transport to the township of McLaren Vale and to Adelaide, with a bus stop app 1 km walk away, but your own car would be best. There is a good shopping centre in McLaren Vale, which is about 4 km.The area is noted for fine food and wine and there are over 70 cellar doors, plus restaurants and a good weekly Farmers Market. Mobile phone reception is good and limited WiFi is available. We have 2 dogs and 2 horses, so visitors must love animals. We are an older couple who love good food and wine, music, country life and equestrian sport. The accommodation provided is private, with your own bathroom and sitting room, so good for a couple, but due to health issues, definitely no smokers.
Help is needed with general property maintenance (not vineyard), weeding, clear... more inside

I am a retired secondary school teacher and I love gardening, singing and playing guitar, hiking, presenting on community radio and travelling. I live in a lovely historic cottage on a large block with a permanent creek a few minutes walk from the centre of Willunga in South Australia. Willunga is a small country town in a wine growing region and is famous for it's cafes and Saturday morning Farmers Market. My home is about 45 mins south of Adelaide and a short drive to the beach. I can provide a room within my house for one or two people and delicious vegetarian meals in exchange for working with me on improving my organic garden and establishing a cut flower business. I prefer helpers that wish to stay for a few days up to one week. There is an outside BBQ for cooking meat. If you are interested in staying please email your phone number and I will contact you.
