HAVE YOU BEEN KISSED BY A KANGAROO?
We have a large Aboriginal art gallery (with didgeridoos and artefacts as well) / opal shop / display underground opal mine and museum as well as a Kangaroo Orphanage in Coober Pedy, the OPAL capital of the world.
We are always looking for help with a variety of work - odd jobs, cleaning the yard, some light construction work, fencing, gardening, painting, helping out in the gallery, household jobs and/or general housekeeping. Being able to operate power tools, do some concreting or tiling and work without supervision will be considered a big asset. There is always something that needs doing around the place.
You need to have a good sense of humour and be prepared to live with kangaroos jumping around the house!
You will live with us as part of our family. Our home is quite small. We have a caravan with a double and 2 single beds. You will have to share our bathroom. All meals are included (great food).

Now we ave bought a place less than 5 km from Adelaide city with a bus on the front door that's the good points................
we are renovating the whole place- maybe even a second story and a granny flat!

Hi, we need a helper/helpers next week from the 21st of may.
We offer a comfortable and safe home to stay in. We are a fun happy young couple with three young children living on a Brussel sprout farm in the beautiful Adelaide hills 30 mins from Adelaide by car and 5 mins drive from the town of Mount Barker. There are also buses walking distance from our place.
We are looking for someone to help mostly inside and around our home with house and yard duties, gardening, weeding, planting, wood, repairs, lawns and if you have experience to please help with the children.
I also have a few furniture pieces that need restoring and repair, sanding, staining etc.
The biggest project we are hoping to do at the moment is converting one of the sheds on the property into a room/studio space so if you have experiece building, , concrete, carpentry etc you would be most welcome.
We are a very busy family and would greatly appreciate the help with day to day living. We love to play ...

Sorry..... no vacancy at the moment.
I offer full farmstay accommodation (includes food - mainly vegetarian), in exchange for 5 hrs work per day.
My farm is an hour from Adelaide up the freeway. There is a bus from Adelaide Central bus station - 85 Franklin Street (08) 8221 5080 - to Murray Bridge (and Tailem Bend during weekdays).
I have many animals including a pony, chickens, a dog, 3 cats, many sheep and lambs, alpacas, doves and quails.

Ours is a full scale mixed farm operation specialising in sheep for meat and wool and irrigated lucerne (alfalfa) growing for seed, hay and grazing. We also grow Canola and cereal crops. Use of trained Kelpie working dogs is an important feature of our sheep work. On a smaller scale we have a vegie and flower garden, a native flower plantation (currently suffering fire damage), a poultry enterprise and revegetation projects. In addition we have numerous pets including birds and a Kangaroo or three.
The property is situated near the Adelaide to Melbourne Highway with buses daily,is covered with approx 35% native vegetation and borders a large National Park.
So there is a variety of work and leisure as well as opportunities to improve language skills and share our life style.

Our farm is located just off the coast of south Australia on Kangaroo Island
We are a beef, lamb and wool production business that focuses a little on cropping.
We have 2 spare rooms for either 2 couples or 2 singles, You find various activities available for you to do during your time off exploring the island including sight seeing some of the most spectacular beaches in all of Australia.
You will be provided with meals and lodgings on your stay.Sorry we can not accept vegetarians,vegans or just plain picky eaters.Also we cannot provide people with accomodation who have allergies.This is a fully working farm so there for can be a dangerous enviroment to work in,so being able to understand English is very important for all concerned.

We are a 64 acres farm in the Adelaide Hills and grow Lettuces, Herbs and other organic vegetables in the ground.
The farm is 40 min from Adelaide and bus connections are good to get to our farm and go on adventures, during the stay.The work here includes planting, harvesting, packing and a balanced variety of other jobs on the farm. We sell our produce at farmer's markets and love helpers with that, too. Accommodation is in the 'yellow' cottage, which sleeps easily 5 to 6 helpers. Cooking and looking after the house is shared.
