Hello,

Ever wanted to learn how to make sausages?

Experiences the buzz of preparing a burger at a food festival?

Travel around Tasmania selling produce farmers markets?

Hold a new born piglet?

Travel around Tasmania?

Eat amazing Tasmanian produce?

We're after some helpers who want to be part of our fun team. We are currently busy on the farm, and there are plenty of great projects and festivals happening. We're developing a green house and planning a kitchen garden.

A bit about us - we're a young team running a free range pig, sheep and cattle farm in a really beautiful part of Tasmania. We work hard and play hard! Eating good food is a big part of what we do-we have restaurant quality food prepared by using fresh produce from the farm and garden and from other artisan producers in Tasmania.

There are many more pictures on our instagram and facebook pages along with blogs made my helpers.

The farm is 9km from the cute seaside village of Penguin in Tass... more inside

Small hobby farm just 5kms outside the town of Deloraine in the north of Tassie. Deloraine is a farming/tourist town located on the way to Walls of Jerusalem and Cradle Mtn National Parks and near the Mole Creek caves. Public transport is available from Launceston or Devonport to Deloraine.

WELCOME TO TASSIE!!!

We have a 50 acre property in Snug which is 30 minutes south of Hobart along the coast. We have 3 young children and are busy raising them and working. I am a podiatrist and my wife is a silversmith.
On the farm we have sheep, chickens and bees and lots of native wildlife (including our hand reared wallaby Ruby). The property is within walking distance to the beach, shops, local cafe, bus stop and the snug river.
We don't have much of a veggie garden at the minute because of the local wildlife eating it before we have a chance to harvest, but have a few veggies growing and have a long term vision of a large enclosed area. We are self sufficient in meat so its always available for the evening meal if your not on a vegetarian diet.
At the minute on the farm we are doing a lot of tree planting, earth moving, road building, fencing, firewood collecting and building. There are always projects on the go and we welcome the help!
The main house is pretty s... more inside

Hi there! Spring has come in Tasmania so we looking for some people to help out with our ecotourism business. Our valley is very beautiful and if you enjoy nature and care for the environment then our place is a perfect stop along your travel route. We believe in sustainability, grow all the vegetables, preserve seasonal fruits, make our bread and eat eggs from our own ducks. We take our guests and our helpers on walks in the rain forest.
We have hosted helpers for many years and we enjoy teaching cooking skills to those who are interested. People who enjoy cooking and good food are always welcome. Hi,

We are currently looking for helpers for October (after the 15th Oct), November, December 2017.

We live near the centre of Hobart. We have a large vegetable garden (in the photo you can see it needs weeding!), berries and fruit trees, and 3 chooks. You can see more photos of the house on our airbnb listing via our website link above.

We have a studio out the back for guests, with shared bathroom inside the house. WIFI is available.

We have two sons in their teens (although one has recently moved to Melbourne soon for uni). We like being hosts so we can meet new people and introduce our sons to people from other cultures. We'd love to have people in our home who can share their stories (and cooking if they want!) and help out with the garden, odd jobs and a bit of housework.

We live near a cycleway and can usually lend helpers bikes to ride around Hobart. The MONA museum is an easy ride from our house along the cycleway.

We play music, go bushwalking, attend y... more inside

We have availability now :)

Our farm is located 40 mins drive north of Launceston in the Tamar Valley (Tasmania). We have a 140 acre property with panoramic views of the Tamar Valley and the mountains to the east (snow capped in winter), and to the north we can see the coastline and the ocean beyond.

Our business enterprise is centered on beef cattle (60+). The farm is based on principals of perma culture where possible, particularly in the vegetable gardens, where we grow seasonal vegetables for the household and casual helpers. We grow fruit, vegetables and nuts, we also keep a few chicken for eggs and meat.
