The property is situated in Woodbridge, a small town 35km south of Hobart on the D'Entrecasteaux Channel.
The property has great views of the Channel and Bruny Island with a small beach in front of the property

I am the owner and operator of TassieTastebuds - an artisan business producing preserves and conserves.
Each Saturday I sell my produce at the famous Salamanca Market in Hobart. Bruny Island Cheese and Huon Pine Picnic Planks share my stall which is in the centre of the market. I have a small production kitchen and a fledgling market garden on the property. I specialize in growing rhubarb and horseradish and all the other raw ingredients are procured locally.

I need assistance in the kitchen, and Bill, my partner needs help outdoors to maintain the garden. We are devoted to the no-dig technique using lots of mulch, so weeds are minimal (In a perfect world!)
Work would be approx. 5 hours per day, with flexible hours so you can take time to enjoy the beautiful sur... more inside

Fishing and Farming on the seafront in beautiful Tasmania.

I am passionate about Farming in line with nature, using polyculture, organic, permaculture principles.. Pigs, Chickens, Guinea Fowl, Cattle, plus other kinds of farming.

I fish commercially 2-3 days per week, together we can catch lots of fish and we can eat some for dinner as well..

There is many beautiful sights to explore in spare time near by aboriginal caves caves, waterfalls, giant trees, fishing, surfing, and a vehicle can be provided...

The work might be hard at times compensated by good food and we will be great company, plenty of laughs.

Some of the work at the moment is expanding permaculture style berry orchards, blue berry, raspberry, black berry, loganberry, gooseberry, pigs till the soil in preparation for planting berries and then chickens, ducks and guinea fowl help maintain weeds and insects plus fertilise after planting berries, very cool project at moment. Hi my name is kyron. I'm 32 years old and have been living on Bruny Island in Southern Tasmania for the past 10 years. The island is divided into 2 parts connected by a narrow strip of land. My property is located on the South Island in Simpsons Bay and faces out over the bay looking towards the Tasman Peninsula. Bruny Island is a stunning location which offers opportunities for walking, photography, bike riding, swimming, snorkeling and bird watching.

The island is about 100km from top to bottom so a car is advisable but there is a bike available for you to use, the locals are very friendly and hitch hiking is safe and common. I am also very happy to show you the island when time permits. I love hiking, camping, fishing and diving and try to get out as much as possible to explore the beautiful place I live in and would be more then happy to take any visitors along with me.

I am currently renovating a 1920 post office and need help with this project. The main jobs are plaste... more inside

We are a family of three, my wife and I and fourteen year old boy, and two dogs,we have two separate properties one of which is my studio. I am a practicing artist ( sculptor) operating a studio on 14 acres and I'm the process of setting up the garden and exchange artist in residence and helpx accommodation ( very basic). There is a little cottage on the property with a double bed and an wood heater/cook top. So suitable for a couple or single person( one room) or shared small space. It has a lovely valley view and very cosy.
The toilet and shower are a short walk away. It is more practical in summer and only for the brave in winter, as a lot of the time you are outdoors. We are looking for some one to live in the little cottage and work for minimum 2 hours a day five days a week. This really is only an accommadation type exchange hence the 2/hours per day work requirement. You will have to supply own food and prep - kitchen available, If someone is looking to work for extra ... more inside

Planet Sandi overlooks the rural village of St Marys near the north east coast of Tasmania. I am a retired gardener who is developing my retirement retreat which I am happy to share with visitors. I enjoy meeting travelers, fishing, cooking, art, dogs, cycle touring and being content with my world. I need assistance with landscaping, construction and maintenance work to maximize the potential of my property. I start the day's project at 8 am which gives helpers time in the afternoon to explore the local region. Helpers have the choice of three double bedrooms with shared bathroom. Mixed diet which at times includes meat and shared cooking is encouraged. No smokers or illegal drugs please. Alcohol in moderation as well as chocolate, blue cheese, good humour, belly laughing and good times. Six hours assistance five days. Helpers are welcome to join me fishing, beach combing, verandah gazing and story telling. I don't have a TV preferring to listen to music and radio and converse with ... more inside
