LENAH VALLEY, AT THE FOOT OF MT WELLINGTON PARK NATURE RESERVE.

CHANGE IN AVAILABILITY: Looking for second helper to come and stay with us between 27th of December to end of January or part of that time. :-)

We have lovely mountain views, we are a short bus ride to the city centre, and we have a large spacious double bedroom with it's own spacious bathroom and separate toilet. We are really enjoying meeting people from different countries and cultures, and we would love you to come and stay with us. Please note, we usually only have female helpers. We will consider couples with references.

My husband and I and our 15 yr old daughter live in Hobart.
We live by the river in Sandy Bay. We have a cat and a small dog and a small vege garden.
Our home is spacious, light, sunny all year round and warm in winter.
It would be great to have some help around the house and garden and to meet new folk and invite you into our home.

We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 boys who are 3.5 years and 20 months) who live on a large block which backs onto bushland in South Hobart, just up the road from Cascade Brewery. We live in a large 2 storey home with plenty of space for visitors. It is a fabulous mix of both bushland and city access.

We have a large garden with fruit trees, vegies and 6 chooks.

We enjoy growing and eating our own food, playing with our kids, riding our bikes, camping, creatively making our own things and meeting people from different countries and cultures.

We are looking for non-smoking people who would enjoy a range of work including gardening, painting, landscaping, cooking, housework and possibly help with childcare.

We are a new Bed and Breakfast just opened in the Cygnet Township. We are restoring a Federation home and its once beautiful Gardens.

We are looking for help in this lovely garden to bring it back to its former glory.

All we ask of you in return for "accommodation only" is 2hrs per day per person. Hours can be altered by arrangement to, 4 hrs one day and one day off, 6 hrs one day and 3 days off or 8 hours one day and 4 days off. The choice is yours.

Your accommodation is in a caravan by our orchard which has a kingsize bed for sleeping, fridge, stove, cooking equipment, bedding and everything else that is needed.

Showers and toilet facilities are in the house and shared with the Hosts.

We live 20 mins out of Hobart in a rural area at the base of Mt wellington. We have a large bush property. We are a well traveled international family looking for a helping hand with property maintenance and renovations. We are an active family that enjoys working together outdoors and meeting other travelers.

We have a 2 1/2 year old daughter Manon and a 6 month old son Sylvain. We speak English, French and basic Spanish. The children are bilingual and we like to increase the amount of French they hear over summer so if you speak French that is a bonus. We prefer stays of min 2 weeks as the children get quite attached to people staying with us. We also have 2 pet alpacas and 3 chickens.

Stephen and Brenda have 2children, Elanta 9yr and Quinlan 6yrs, they are homeschooling. We also have a dog, cat, 8 chickens, a rabbit and guinea pigs.
Our property is mostly bush with lots of wildlife and a cleared area for an orchard, vege garden and animals.
We are a short drive from Liffey Falls and bushwalks. The main town, Deloraine and other beautiful places are only a short drive away which we like to explore with our helpers.
Activities include-tending animals, gardening, household duties, creative projects and general farm duties. Accomodation in studio or tent. Must like children.
No smoking or recreational drugs and we cannot sign second visa forms.

We are a couple living on 100 acres in the beautiful farming area of Scottsdale in NE Tasmania. 2 mins from town, 20 mins from the beach, 1 hr from Launceston and the airport. Fishing, wineries and general tourism all around.

75 acres are currently under forestry lease with sheep and cattle grazing on agistment. 25 acres of grazing with many sheds and buildings, grazing sheep, beef cattle and dairy cattle.

Currently establishing a fruit orchard, cider orchard, vege and herb gardens. Repairing and rebuilding the old sheds, including an old dairy, piggery and hayshed/barn.

Other animals on farm include three elderly cats, two maremma sheepdogs and some hens with their rooster.

Work could include weeding and watering, building repairs, fencing, laying water lines, burr chipping, working with the sheep and cattle, mowing, milking, perhaps some housework etc.
