We are offering travellers a warm, comfortable two story Celery Top Pine home, built 29 years ago by owners. Our home is a Wellness Home so you will be drinking clean filtered water and sleep on a sleep system giving restful, replenishing sleep. My 57 acres of rolling pasture is within walking distance of the water and beach and is home to 14 horses, a mule, 2 goats, 2 sheep, chickens, 2 dogs & 2 cats. The horses live in happy herds, receiving hoof trims regularly, a natural diet & lots of love and grooming.
The accommodation is in a comfy caravan near my cabin which has solar power and a composting toilet. My aim is to develop my property using permaculture principles. There are beautiful views, peace & serenity here with all the attractions and amazing scenery that the Tasman Peninsula offers.
Horse lovers welcome- especially those interested in natural horse care, horsemanship and positive training - all about developing horse/human relationships at liberty, before any riding.
Help appreciated with feeding the animals, manure pick up/composting, developing the vegetable & herb garden, weed control, fencing and tree planting.
Meals or food provided (if you prefer to cook your own) - gluten free catered for. Non-... more inside

Our 15 acre property, 2.5km from Exeter 26k from Launceston, has fruit trees, berries and a vegetable garden.

At the moment, we are looking to clear overgrown blackberry bushes with the brushcutter. We have also had a lot of trees fall down so if you are handy with a chainsaw that would be wonderful.

We have some other outside work but you need to be reasonably strong. Household help always welcome. Stays of 3 to 10 days are welcome but longer by arrangement. Full board in exchange for 4.5 hours work a day. Accomodation is in our house with a shared bathroom. Our house is unfortunately very untidy as housework has a low priority! Please, we prefer helpers to understand English and be non-smokers. Our daughter, Amber, is 17 years old. Diet is mixed. Male/female bikes available. We love animals and part of our family are an inside cat and outside dog.

Peter is an electronics technician and loves computers. After lunch he will often drive you around and show you the sights ... more inside

We have a modest chemical free farm raising fruit, vegetables, grapes, chickens, ducks and miniature pigs.
Work is varied depending upon the season- this includes weeding, planting, garden maintenance, looking after the animals and helping around the house, cleaning and occasional cooking.Helpers work about 4 hours per day for free accomodation, all meals and a drink after work.
Helpers have seperate accomodation behind the main house with shared bathroom facilities.
Friday nights we make wood fired Pizza in our own cob oven and often have music nights.
We smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol- often at the same time :) so if this offends you we are probably not the right venue for your stay.
We eat a mixed diet and have a small kitchen area so sadly are unable to help with strict vegitarian or vegan helpers
We take our helpers out 1 day per week to show them the beautiful sights of North east Tasmania.
Artistic Helpers are especially needed as the property has a number of murals a... more inside

Hello,

Ever wanted to learn how to make sausages?

Experiences the buzz of preparing a burger at a food festival?

Travel around Tasmania selling produce farmers markets?

Hold a new born piglet?

Travel around Tasmania?

Eat amazing Tasmanian produce?

We're after some helpers who want to be part of our fun team. We are currently busy on the farm, there are plenty of freshly born piglets and lambs and we have our weekly jobs to do in the butchery/kitchen and at the farmers markets. We're bottle rearing lambs at the moment as well, so if you want to take care of a lamb now is your chance.

A bit about us - we're a young team running a free range pig, sheep and cattle farm in a really beautiful part of Tasmania. We work hard and play hard! Eating good food is a big part of what we do-we have restaurant quality food prepared by using fresh produce from the farm and garden and from other artisan producers in Tasmania.

Some of our helpers have put together videos of... more inside

Lenah Valley Homestay, next to the bush with mountain views.

Looking for help - we have a new, very adorable PUPPY! We would like to have one or two people stay with us to help look after our 11 week old puppy. You will not find any recent reviews as I took a year off HelpX whilst I was studying. Now we would love to meet some more people and share our newest family member. Please only apply if you have experience with dogs and enjoy their company. We want her to be socialised properly and firmly, yet kindly shown how to behave by all who interact with her at home.

OVERVIEW;
We have lovely mountain views, we are a short bus ride to the city centre, and we have a large spacious double bedroom with it's own spacious bathroom and separate toilet. We are really enjoying meeting people from different countries and cultures, and we would love you to come and stay with us.

Hello

We live just outside Hobart near Seven Mile Beach. We have a large garden and have recently planted a commercial crop of garlic!

We are a family of four, Rob, Caroline Bea (11) and Eddie (8) and our dog Fagus. We love to eat nice fresh food and enjoy the outodoors, we regularly boat, snorkel, surf and fish locally. We also love to go camping and bushwalking around Tassie.

If you think you would like our lifestyle we would love help with garden and general housework.

If you have a creative streak we would love to explore that with you. I enjoy natural plant dying and basket weaving from natural fibres. I recently organised a gathering of friends to create baskets from my neighbours vine pruning!

You would have your own room and bathroom at the far end of the house for when you need to wind down.

We look forward to hosting you!
