We are now seeking volunteers from 13th September until end October. 3 or 4 weeks is usually best but we do occasionally take volunteers for two weeks if it fits in.

We run a guesthouse in the beautiful Scottish Highlands near the River Spey where Malt Whisky is produced.
We need helpers for cleaning and helping with guests and gardening. Work is not difficult and is around 3hrs in the mornings and 2 in the evening over 5 days. We have just six guestrooms, and 3 helpers.
We provide very comfortable private accommodation with two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, lounge as well as TV,DVD and WIFI.
There is plenty of free time and access to outdoor activities as well as mountain bikes.
You will be provided with one hot meal a day and plenty of good food for the other daily meals.
Helpers receive generous tips from the guests which they share on a daily basis.
We are friendly hosts who enjoy the company of our traveling helpers.
It works really well if you can stay for at least ... more inside

been organic since 1978 when my family bought the place. really at the renovation stage now, as my parents got old & things fell apart.. we are really fixing things up to get ready to start growing for next year...

we are also obsessed with our animals as friends & have some horses, so can help you get used to horses & trek out if you are able. our horses are very used to beginners but are also well able to compete at reasonable levels too.

the house is old & needs lots of work to modernise it. it is however warm & comfortable & although we are very rural we have a steady bunch of friends who visit from nearby & also from other countries we have been to ourselves.

the area is known as a beauty spot for walking, camping, cycling, trekking & sailing. there is good transport for this area & you can walk to the bus stop in 12 minutes from the house. it takes about 1 hour 30 minutes to travel to Glasgow on the bus or bus, train & ferry combination & the nearest town is called du... more inside
