Hi everyone

we are a small hotel in a north of Edinburgh

we are looking for volunteer
1-to help us with breakfast shift and reception and bar shift

2-handyman to do maintenance
if you apply for it details your skills

in general you will work 25 hours per week

in exchange we offer you:

we are in the suburbs of Inverkeithing which is 30 minutes by train from Edinburgh city center

We are a small family run business based in the beautiful West Highlands of Scotland. Our business comprises of a small shop/cafe,glamping pods and a small working croft with cows,hens,goats and horses.We are situated on the shores of Loch Linnhe overlooking the stunning Glencoe mountains.The local town of Fort William is a 15 min drive by car or bus.We are also only 2 hours from Glasgow which has regular rail and bus links.If you enjoy walking,cycling,hill walking, bird watching and kayaking then this is the place for you!
We are looking for someone to help with gardening,general maintenance,animal care, housework and help within our shop and cafe.Building skills would also be desirable but not essential.You would also work with tourists.
We speak English, Gaelic, a little Italian and rather poor French.We are a musical family who enjoy Traditional Scottish music. Fiddle and guitar lessons are available.

Small hobby farm with horses and miniature donkeys, with large gardens. Ettrick is a beautiful relatively remote rural location just over one hour's drive from both Edinburgh and Carlisle. Hello,we're looking for some friendly folks to join us walking our Newfoundland Dogs, grooming and Training too, a spot of gardening and taking a share in household duties ,working together with us with whatever projects we are doing at the time. you must love and get on well with dogs, Their is scope for growing vegetables too if you desire, We have a lovely log cabin in the garden with wood burning stove plus a Caravan and in return for 25 hours a week we offer accommodation in the cabin or caravan, wifi connection and meals. We live in a remote area of the Black isle with lovely areas to walk, beach 5 minutes away by foot, local forest too In your spare time there is lots to see and do in the local area.We have a boat you can come out in for fishing and enjoying the local pod of over 100 bottle nosed dolphins, if you'd like to explore the coast or bicycles for exploring the Black Isle. Dear HelpX volunteers,

Vacancy 24/09 till 25/10 2017: 4 days of 6 hours workig followed by 4 days off or 4 hours work a daily base.But we are flexible.

Armadale House B&B had the first HelpX volunteers in 2012. HelpX volunteers from all over the world came and helped out. A great experience not only for the B&B, but also for the volunteers.

The North Coast of Scotland is a brilliant place to do hill walking, surfing, bird watching, painting and photography.

HelpX volunteers mostly stay for a couple of weeks or even longer.

Basics tasks for the volunteers:
Being host to the guests, changing beds, some cleaning, laundry and serving breakfast.

In case the B&B is not to busy, there are always other jobs to do, just tell us your talents/skills and we will see if it fits in.

We will do our best to give you a great time to explore this remote corner of the world.

We are a fun-loving hostel right in the heart of Edinburgh's fantastic old town. The hostel is in a historic building just off the famous Royal Mile in Scotland's fascinating and vibrant capital.
We offer our guests a warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere in a unique and clean environment.

As a helper you would be part of our international house keeping team. The work consists mainly of the daily cleaning jobs in the hostel, like making beds, cleaning the kitchen, showers and toilets, hoovering and doing laundry. You would work 2 hours per day for your accommodation in one of our staff dorms, a free laundry wash per week, and internet.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS for 2017. Couples welcome too.

We are a super friendly, well run hostel in the gorgeous location of Fort William, known as the adventure capital of the UK.

We've been preparing and renovating our hostel with new showers, new carpets and fresh decoration and we are looking forward to a new season.

You will be doing Cleaning and Laundry, perhaps some Reception and any other general hostel work that ensures the hostel is sparkling and the guests are made to feel welcome.

We would love to hear from any good workers out there who are happy to muck in and do whatever is needed to make this hostel a wonderful place to be.

This is an excellent opportunity to be right in the heart of Edinburgh's stunning Old Town

The job involves the following duties:

Changing beds, hoovering, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens as well as other various tasks.

We require people to work 16 hours per week, over 5 days in return for their accomodation in our staff dormitory and full use of all hostel facilities.
The shifts are from 10am - 1.30pm.

You need to have a good command of English and legally be allowed to work in the U.K.
